It senses size of load and checks the balance before it starts the cycle. It has recommended settings that you can override if you choose. The clothes are really clean. Very happy with the washer and dryer.

Nice LG!

Uses way less water per load but still gets everything clean. Wash time has been cut in half. Also less noise than my other washer I use to have. The LG app is even handy. You can start a load on your phone while you are away from home and have it done by the time you get back.

Washer does the job

I am using the extra water and extra rinse cycle to insure the clothes are thoroughly cleaned. I miss the older style agitator model that filled the tub with water but will say the added space in the tub is nice bonus with the new efficiency model.

Not the greatest

Also put holes in a couple pairs of my jeans. A little difficult to balance and I think the price is high for what it is and what its not. Besides those issues it has a huge load capacity and it seems to get the laundry clean.

Wow, the amount of clothes this can wash

Fabric softener and detergent are inside under the hinges of the lid, a tray in the back of the top of the tub. What was 3 loads in our Kenmore, is almost a full load here. There's a water sensor, so smaller loads use less water. It's a little louder than our Kenmore, but not dramatically louder.

Love this washer!

Definitely out cleans my old washer but that was to be hoped for! Love the capacity! What I can do in one load is more than double in my old washer! Less time for this chore, leaves me time for other things! Very pleased with my purchase and have recommended it to my friends.
