LG Washer and Dryer

Also scratched my walls up. Not the best buying experience. I was compensated with a gift card.

Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Not sure if this is just a front loader issue, or something with their seal design, but in less than 2 years, I’m considering throwing this washer away and purchasing a top loader. I spend more time with cleaning products, disinfectant cycles, leaving it open to dry out, than I do on actual laundry, and it still smells so bad like mildew that i hate using it. I’ve tried to order a replacement gasket, but they’re discontinued and all out of stock from their own recommended manufacturers.

BUT, it does NOT have an inside drum light!! Just amazing that a $1500 machine does not have a $5 internal light!!!

Since this washer is meant to be paired together with the dryer, I would not get it.

I spent a lot of money for the guys to install it wrong where they switched the hot and cold. They came back and fixed it and thought it would be okay. Always supposed to rinse in cold but NO. It always rinses in warm. Just eating my clothes up, shrinking everything. And now I'm stuck with this piece of garbage. Does great with white towels.

Had an issue with soapy water left in the gasket and called Best Buy and warranty folks for help. Total waste of time and all they wanted to do was send another washer and reinstall. After much ado, we found there was a hole in the gasket, our previous front load didn't have this, and it was clogged from the beginning. Now we know to check the hole before every wash but never would have thought there was a drain in the gasket material. Very disappointed in the service and machine quality.
