Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Do not buy this dryer I bought this dryer because it had trusteam which I wanted because I hate to iron. I have had this dryer for 2 years now and I have never had the chance to use the trusteam feature because I put up my clothes up right away after drying to reduce wrinkles. However, One shirt was wrinkled and I said hey let me try this feature on my dryer, I tried it for the first time ever and the dryer completely goes off. At first I thought it was just my breaker but after having a licensed electrician come out and checkout out, we realized it was the dryer itself. I go on to look at the reviews and find that many other people have had this exact same thing to happen to them. I immediately call LG and tell them my problem they said "okay were going to send a service man out there to repair but you have to pay for it". I then go on to explain how "I did nothing to damage my dryer I simply pressed trusted and it broke down, so why should I have to pay for a manufacture defect"? they say "okay we will submit a request to do a one time curtesy repair", we think okay great. WRONG, it took them two weeks to say "NO sorry you have to pay for that". I will never buy an LG product again in my life nor will I recommend an LG product to anyone. Why should I be charged and punished for using a feature on my dryer correctly and it breaks down?! it makes no sense. I also paid the hefty price for this water dryer set and this is how they treat their customers. Word of advise DO NOT BUY from LG. Im reporting them to the BBB and seeking legal advice now. Go on and look at the reviews saying the trusteam feature doesnt work im not the only victim.

DO NOT BUY WASHER OR PROTECTION PLAN

It took 4 weeks to get a repair scheduled, and when they showed up it was never fixed. Now it’s leaking everywhere and this is the SECOND time I have had to have this LG washer repaired. I have been on hold for countless hours trying to get this fixed, and the amount of misinformation is staggering. I just want my washer replaced. At this point it qualifies as a lemon, and whenever I bring that up, the representative hangs up on me and I have to call back and wait another half an hour. What do I need to do to resolve this situation? Lawyer up??? Small claims court??? I literally can’t believe I have to post about this on Instagram. What a disaster. Do not purchase from Best Buy, and definitely do not purchase the extended geek squad warranty, because it’s one of the biggest headaches to deal with.
