Great working washer! The first one we got had a manufacturers defect but the new one works well.

Works quicker than my other washer did, has so many more settings and my clothes come out super clean

Never worked right, scheduling repairs is a full-time job, and we may have to throw it away after a year. From day one, machine rumbled/shook like crazy. After a while, stopped being able to spin--"unbalanced error." LG determined it was a broken drum. Sent out a drum, that was broken. Sent out second drum, 2 guys show up, sometimes a 3rd, install it. Fixed? Not so fast. Drum started making weird noises, and machine often would stop, "inlet error"--didn't understand how much water it had. Started leaking, gushing water when it worked at all. We have to hold the door pushed in during rinse. But now it's also coming out the top of the door panel. Can't stop that water. Been a nightmare trying to get LG to deal with it. Suddenly they can send only 1 guy, and we have to unstack/disconnect it? I said I’d help. Guy comes out, doesn’t want to unstack, investigates. Tried to blame us for not cleaning tub, also says boot (rubber door lining) is bad. And he's never heard this noise before. But tub cleaning didn't solve issue, so he quit (no boot replacement either). Sent us back to LG. They said they’d send someone else, 2 people. Nothing. Called back—LG escalates. Make noises about maybe just compensating us for the bad machine. OK? Now start getting messages again about unstacking unit, for the same repair outfit that couldn’t fix it. BTW, we have floor damage from the leaks (we have a drain pan, but, when water shoots out the front, it hits the floor, not the pan underneath the machine). I am sick and tired of spending hours on the phone with LG telling my story, and we just get jerked around. So I’m telling it here. This is a major headache, expensive, and stressful. AVOID.

We have had LG washers and dryers for years and they have always performed to our satisfaction.

Very nice and washes quick!!! The added bonus of text alerts or downloading additional Wash cycles is a huge plus!!
