No drum light. Why would they make this with no drum light????????

Excellent washer, easy to use for the basics, still need to figure out how to use some features, like Steam. Love that I can wash comforters and sleeping backs without having to go to a laundromat. The only downside is that to accommodate the large size, the washer drum is DEEP. In the stackable configuration, without a pedestal, that makes it a bit more challenge to bend down and get all the way into the drum to unload a wash, but so far that's an acceptable trade-off for me. It wouldn't be for my 84 yr old Mom, though.

What a refreshing change from the Samsung front loader we had. This machine is quiet, efficient, cleans just perfectly. We are very happy (so-far) with this machine.

Great Washer. I've had it for 3 years, and no problems. I was worried about the smell, but I leave the door open after washing and have had no smells. I've only cleaned the tub maybe 1-2 times.

It is quiet and able to handle a large load. The cleaness is awesome.

I love the washer and how easy it is to use. the fact I get a notification in my phone when it's ready helps to avoid forgetting things were there. I also love the time it's adjusted depending on the load. It doesn't take long to wash a small load.

Does a good job washing clothes. Tons of unnecessary bells and whistles but does a good job at what it’s supposed to do.

This is a wonderful washer with so many settings! Very water efficient - I should have replaced my top loader sooner!

Machine has large capacity. It also stays put when running. The many cycles are somewhat limiting as you can’t change settings within the cycles. Clothes do get clean and not a lot of detergent is needed. The printed manual lacks the cycle info which is only online. I have to run between a desk top and the washer to look things up as I get familiar with this machine. The dark color seems to scratch more easily than my prior white Maytag.

Bought LG WM 6700, washing machine, love it , Best Buy, said they will delivered in 1 week, and did. Fast delivery, well done, Great price and removal and installation fee, were good. Kudos to Best Buy, keep up the Good work.

This is quite similar to our 12 or 15 your old pair that we inherited when we bought the house a few years ago. It does not seem to be quite as sturdy. And still, LG won’t put in a spin only cycle. And the panel is difficult to read. Due to supply chain issues there is very little choice. But I had ruled out a Wi-Fi unit anyhow. If the app won’t load your clothes for you, what’s the point?

I have had this washer and the matching gas dryer since February. I bought it to replace a 15 year old duet pair that I loved, but that was too expensive to repair vs. replace. I bought this machine after a recommendation from the BB sales person and Consumer Report rating. The sales person definitely did not accurately represent this product. There is not an option to program “wool” or “soak” cycles. This machine cleans a regular load of clothes fine. Anything else sets off a balance sensor. Too small and light- won’t spin. Too bulky, won’t spin. The trick is to add a clean towel during the spin cycle. But that’s time consuming and makes more laundry. The dial must be set every time you turn it on. I can’t see all of these digital dials being durable. It’s also very noisy. We hear it from upstairs. If you want a versatile washer for family needs, try something with less electronics. The gas dryer also has sensor issues. On any cycle but the speed dry, it turns off after a few minutes. Again and again I come down to stalled wash cycles and wet clothes in the dryer unless I use only one of the cycles. This experience has diminished how I view the accuracy of Consumer Reports.

Bought the washer and dryer combo and the clothes come out clean and smelling divine. Haven’t had any problems thus far and works like a charm.

We had a rocky start since the first LG washer had a technical glitch with IE Error that could not be resolved. Finally very kind and knowledgeable representative explained the problem and promptly ordered us an exchange with an new unit which arrived in 6 days and now functions perfectly.

I spent over $2,100 on this washer and matching dryer. They were delivered 7/5/22 and because the washer gets stuck on the pre-spin cycle indefinitely, I contacted LG and I got a ridiculous and very long lecture about how to do laundry from a woman in Ohio who clearly just wanted to hear herself talk and had no desire to resolve the issue after being on the phone 45 minutes. I'm so frustrated. If I can't return it, I should at least get a replacement. This whole situation is absurd. Save yourself the frustration and buy from another manufacturer.

So far, so good. I like the shorter wash cycles. I like the WIFI alerts.
