Deep bass sometimes overpowers the dialogue. Find myself having to adjust volume level up and down frequently. Need to check if there is a way to adjust the bass/ treble mix. If not, I would suggest this be added.

Adding this soundbar to my TV purchase really kicked up the sound quality of my new TV. I did listen to other sound bars in the store and this one far exceeded the quality of the others. So glad I bought during a holiday sale weekend and with a new TV the price was reduced to half the original cost.

I like the features of this sound bar for movies. I am a little disappointed I. The overall sound when using it for a regular tv watching or for music. It seems to lose the depth of sound when using to listen to music. All in all a good buy since it was on sale.

This relatively small sound bar delivers an explosive sound that fills a room with the clearest sound. The included sub provides a large kick when asked to, but supplies a balanced bass note that compliments the sound bar perfectly.

After upgrading from a Samsung soundbar, I’m finally satisfied and happy with this purchase. The sound is crisp and clear and the bass fills in nicely. LG soundbar paired flawlessly with my 70” Samsung 4K TV.

I have a five year old 5.1 system connected LG 65" OLED. I hoped this would provide the features and quality other reviews spoke of but I was dissapointed and returned the unit. I wanted to simplify my living room with fewer standing speakers. Where others found realistic sound placement, I found a flat sound that was no comparison to speakers placed around the room. While better than the TVs built in speakers, it didn't provide the spatial separation, depth, or sound quality I expect from a component at this price. You really need to try this in your own room to determine if it meets your needs but I was disappointed. Thanks to Best Buy for a no-hassel return. I'm a loyal and happy customer, this product just didn't make the cut. My recommendation - spend the same money on a 5.1 home theater receiver and good speakers and subwoofer.

After trying several different sound bars by other manufacturers, and being disappointed, the Best Buy staff showed me this LG soundbar. I am very pleased with this system. Sound is powerful and clear with excellent bass.

I bought the SJ9 for 2 reasons- because it could connect wirelessly to my new LG OLED C7, and because it was only an additional $200 when purchased along with the tv. In the store, it sounded really good. But at home, it is not a huge improvement over the tv speakers. It was barely worth the $200; if I had paid any more I would have returned it. In fact, the only reason I haven't returned it is it is mounted to my wall. Don't waste your money.....

Some issues with lag at first that I had to fix manually, sometimes it sounds as if some of the sound drops out so still figuring that out. If I had paid full price it would already be returned

Sound is awesome if you have a small or medium size room. I have a large family room with 24 ft ceilings so the sound seems to get lost sometimes.

Purchase is for our home that flooded during Hurricane Harvey,so it will not be used till we move back in our home.In best Buy the sound that came out of it was great,looking forward to it being hooked up!

we have been waiting for this sound bar to come out and we ordered it on line from BB it arrived in perfect condition we hooked it up to our 65 in LG-SUHD 8500 and WOW everything linked right up without a hitch using HDMI ARC sub also linked up on the first try NO complex setup with this bar we just ran the updates and bang it was ready to go we put in a 4k movie with atmos and the bar says we were in atmos no guess work there the sound was fantastic and the sub set at 2 shook our hard wood floor ,,,no kidding.voice is strong and clear and with the bar set at just 20 is LOUD and goes way up from there and still sounds great atmos seems to work well but with most its just an effect and will be different in every room our living room is open to the kitchen and this bar fills the room no problem as far as we are concerned this bar is a keeper LG took there time and put out a solid bar it`s thin to only 2 1/4 inches but puts out great sound and looks good to a bit pricy at 999 but worth it compared to the Samsung and this bar covers DTS,ATMOS,TRUE HD and more we are happy with this sound bar....thanks LG

If you need a clean and compact system this is the one Bass depth and response are excellent Highs and mids are clear Dolby atmos soundstage is impressive Excellent investment

it has a good sound but sounded better in the store when the demo was played. Does not replace the true surround but saves space.

Sounds great until you learn that you're not the only person that has constant subwoofer disconnect problems with this model. It's a shame because otherwise, it sounds great. I've done a bunch of research in hopes to resolve the problems but unfortunately it doesn't seem like support is that great. Fortunately I bought the 2 year protection--we will see how that goes.

This sound bar works great with our lg TV. The flawless wireless setup is great as well as it's Bluetooth compatibility with our phones. Our music and movies will never be the same!

I got these speakers on clearance for half the retail price. Not sure I would pay full price for these but for half the price I feel it was a great deal.

Had to go on line to find out how to synchronize my sound bar with tv. Sometimes the sound cuts out. Don't know if its the sound bar or the cable company.

I love this soundbar so far, but the other day it came on on its own. Wondering if another apartment has the same soundbar and their remote is in range.
