Bar sometimes skips sound from speaker to speaker and the amp doese'nt always sound like it is on.

Sound effects could be better especially as much as it cost

I bought this along with an LG 55" C7 4K TV. But I noticed fairly quickly an audio sync issue between the C7 and SJ9. The audio of dialog would quite frequently be out of sync with the actor on screen. No amount setting changes on the C7 or the SJ9 would consistently correct the issue. I will be returning both the C7 and the SJ9 for a refund.

This Soundbar was ok for the price, HONESTLY our older LG 2.1 sounds just as good.

I expected a lot better sound for the money I spent

Good sound quality did not match to bose or Sony but if budget is less good option

Had some issues passing through hdr with the 4K hdmi. Seems to be working now.

The sounds amazing . Clear and loud. The price is about scary at $800.

Although I feel like I got a pretty deal on the system. It still was not worth it too me. I felt sometimes like I was basically adding the woofer to my TV's existing speakers. It just did not go loud enough. Neither did it have enough options on sound adjustment levels or different modes.

The sound bar sounds definitely not worth $1000 got on sale

Sometimes the sub woofer loses sound while watching tv.

I was expecting something with more of a powerful sound.

Doesn't work for me as store representative indicated it would. I am a little hard of hearing and he indicated this would help a lot and it hasn't. The sound just isn't what I expected especially for the price I paid. Received no instructions on how to make adjustments.

I purchased this sound bar with a 2016 OLED TV and had Geek Squad set it up. The sound bar would not communicate with the TV via HDMI or optical signal. The only way it would" talk" with the TV was through blu tooth. Using this connection prevents the sound bar from functioning optimally. I was really excited about this product and feel let down. I returned the sound bar to Best Buy.

While the sound of this unit is great it has a MAJOR flaw. The front panel display is always on and there is no way to turn it off. I contacted support and they confirmed this is how it works... So you have to stare at a lit up display while you are trying to watch your TV. LG said they would forward this feedback to their developers but I won't hold my breath that it will get fixed. It's ridiculous that you would have to fix it in the first place. Who would buy a high end soundbar and be OK with a display distracting your viewing?

The sound bar looks great but didn't sound as good at home as it did in the store. Had to take it back after 2 weeks and get my money back. Too many problems.

This is one of the stupidest things I've ever bought. 900 bucks for a sound bar. Seriously? I wish I could take it back but I travel so much and Haven't had the time. Don't waste your money. Buy a tuner and some real speakers. Yeah I'd take it back if I could. HELP THE WORKING TRAVELING MAN BEST BUY. TOTALLY OVERPRICED!!!!! Not even close worth 900 bucks. Not even half!

First, let me start by saying this soundbar LOOKS like its worth the asking price. Problem is that it sounds like a soundbar of half its cost. Did not feel the atmos sound and there was comparability issues pairing with my LG OLED (why? firmware). I moved on quickly and you should too. Save yourself the hassle and money.

Not long after we started using it, the sound would change occasionally. It sounded like some part of the sound went in and out, like it was in a tunnel. Recently it got worse & we talked to Best Buy about it but they said they won't replace it. So now we have a useless soundbar.

Definitely not worth getting for the atmos experience
