amazing sound for sound bar, price might be bit too steep unless you are watching UHD player

So we created a home cinema (bdrm size 13x12) and this was our choice of surround sound. It was so worth it!! So much that our friends kids cry to come to the house so they can watch tv shows. It is only two items but the system moves you. Clarity and options all at your fingertips. And we still have not played with all the settings.

The sound bar is definitely above average. It makes it sound especially vocal sound from the TV show as much clearer and easier to understand. It also has a decent sub woofer which creates a nice deep but tight base. The best hidden features is the ability to stream music from you're smart phones and tablets!

If I had to describe this sound bar in one word it would be "WOW". This sound is way better than I expected. When watching Revenant, it sounded like a stream in the movie was flowing into my living room. This speaker also connects with my Alexa so I can listen to music through it. This sound bar is replacing a Sony Receiver system.

The sound is terrific. The bass is a real blast, just like being at the movie theater.

Easy to set up, sound is great. I paired it with my lg oled 65” tv. Happy with my purchase.

Just okay , find that the TV voices dont coincide with the mouths on the picture when run in bluetooth mode and arc optical mode. rather disappointed in the product because the sound quality is pretty good and the sub woofer works fine.

audio sounds fantastic, especially atmos enabled content. Couldnt pass up the price.

Excellent all around soundbar for small to mid-size rooms. Everything sounds amazing and full. While it's not quite the same as a traditional surround sound, the sound from this model is about as close as you can get, especially with atmos enabled media. The only complaint I have is that it doesn't support single button or IR options to select a specific input. You have to cycle through them in sequence.

It's a really good system. My problem with it is that there are no instructions either with it or on line to explain how to use the remote and to adjust the system properly. I have to keep going back to the store or accidently press a button. Not good for a quality system And Bose is the same way. I would recommend this system is someone is more tech savvy than I am.

Very clear speakers ,easy to mount and the television synced in very easily.

Great soundbar. Easy to use. Not sure if I'm getting the Dolby Atmos effect, my 4K player is Samsung BDJ-7500. It supports Dolby audio and DTS. Maybe with a Dolby Atmos 4K player would make a difference. I was able to connect it wirelessly to my network, but it won't connect with a ethernet cable. Something about the Access Point. I would recommend this soundbar.

At first I was having issue with my first purchase. Unfortunately I had to exchange it because first purchase had defective left speaker. But once I got the second SJ9, it was amazing. Only thing I would wish is for a powerful louder subwoofer. I feel this doesn't have the kick for it's high end price tag. However it still gets the job well done

Was hesitant to replace an existing 6.1 soundbar, but I am glad I did the Atmos sound is awesome. Definitely check out the Demo unit setup in store should be in the LG section surrounded by OLED and high end LED TV. Setup was good and quick. Make sure to download the MusicFlow APP for more settings.

Work great so far we like it. Wish the price are little cheaper

I received the LG SJ9 Soundbar about one month ago. The sound quality is very good and much better that the sound system on the TV. I am very fond of the soundbar's ability to connect with other Bluetooth devices. I am able to play music from my smartphone and ipad through the soundbar; Very nice!

This has awesome sound! Easy to set up. Sounds like a movie theater.

Amazing sound pairs well with any device, great bass real theater feel.

Great sound at any volume. Multiple settings to accomodate a wide variety of entertainment sources (music, TV, Blu-Ray, Streaming, etc.). A complaint I had with my former home entertainment sound system was dialog being drowned out by background sound. LG Soundbar has eliiminated that problem.
