Sounds worse than TV speakers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to go with my LG OLED TV and the sound quality is ridiculously, laughably worse than the quality of the TV's internal speakers. I don't know if I got a bad one, but I tried it through bluetooth, optical and ARC, tried every audio preset, tried tons of adjustments to the EQ and could get nothing but boxy, underwater sound. I'm not a huge audiophile or anything, but this was a tremendous disappointment.

Horrible base quality

I listen to music often when cleaning and this just ain’t it chief. If you’re looking for a sound bar with great quality base for music and movies/tv then skip this one. Pay a little extra for the next model up. Trust me on this one.

Dialogue on this soundbar is terrible

It has a very low range, and it sounds very tinny, regardless of the settings or modes I tried. I returned it and got the SP8YA, which is night and day - it works like this one should.

Worst experience of my life,

Power cables are also not there, hence I had no option other then to refuse to take the delivery.

Not happy

Has worked for a week now it’s got error message of d protection on front of sound bar. Have googled everything to fix and nothing. NOT HAPPY WITH THE PRODUCT AT ALL. one month old, 1 week of using and nothing works. Was a Christmas present for my husband.

Didn't Last Even a Full Year

It's been just under a year and it doesn't even work anymore. Will randomly static or high pitch tone. I definitely regret this purchase.

Remote DOA. Can't control soundbar at all.

I have checked and verified that there is an IR signal coming from the remote, but the soundbar does not respond to any inputs. Batteries checked and confirmed good. Super dissapointed.

Clear vocals, no base

Set up was very easy, the LG app give you a lot of control options and connectivity is seamless. The first issue is the height of the sound bar. I have an LG C1 on the stand, and a good 1/2” is blocked on the bottom. The cables (power and optical) are thin, don’t route well and feel cheap. The speakers sound clear, loud, and full my space very well. The bass is almost non-existent, and I’m not a big bass person. I had to max the bass settings to get any bass out of the sub. For the amount of speakers, music and tv sound dull and flat, but vocals were crystal clear. I went into the settings and change them and couldn’t find a way to give the content any life. If you want clear audio, don’t care as much about music or effects, this is a nice setup. I think the C1 built-in speakers sound better, but aren’t as powerful.

Good Sound for 440W
