Replacement for an older LG model sound bar that had begun to fail. Decent system and sound for the unit, downside is that you need the app to work on the settings and or update thjngs

Great sound. Perfect compatibility with my TV. Easy to connect, even as a woman who has very to little experience with these things. Love the look and not to bulky. It was an open package when purchased, but was in perfect condition.

worth every penny. great sound. If you have an LG tv this is a must. Easy set up. Also it looks good, not just a bunch of plastic. it was made with a little craftmanship. the sound is robust

Very easy setup. Enjoying the quality and so many sound options. I do wish the clear voice was a little better but over all a great purchase.

Buy an LG TV because I know it is the same quality as Samsung only cheaper. And to tie it with a sound I bought the LG SP7Y soundbar. I don't like buying from Amazon because I can't compare the sound of different bars like I did at Bestbuy, also, the Bestbuy people explained to me about the difference in sound between 2.1, 3.1 and 5.1 and Dolby Atmos, etc. With Amazon I would never have had that service. Buying in a store where I can hear the sound of the bar and physically see the product gave me more confidence and I avoid making a mistake buying something on Amazon that I have never heard and maybe I would not have liked. The bar comes well packaged and looks very well finished. The installation manual is too bad, of the 8 sheets of the manual only the first two talk about the installation, the other six sheets describe the legal aspects of the software they use in small print. Here LG must do a good job making a more illustrative manual. I Install the bar in Arc type using the optical cable and connect the bar to the outlet and thus also connect the Subwoofer to the outlet, the SubW connects to the bar automatically, I did not have to do anything. Basically, I bought the bar to listen to the third episode of Get Back by the Beatles since it was the part of Roof concert and the series is remastered, so I wanted to hear it well. When I started to watch the Get Back series, the Subwoofer was going in and out all the time so I called LG's phone for technical support, incredibly they answered me in less than a minute and they helped me solve the problem that was that the Subwoofer I had it next to my internet router so the signals were interfered with so I moved the Subwoofer to the other side of the TV and the sound was fixed. Once the bar is working, as the manual does not include how to configure the sounds of the bar, I started to explore, within the control you can handle different types of sounds for sports, Cinema, Videogames, etc. I put it in Cinema, and besides I wanted the subwoofer to sound louder so I set the bass to +6 and the treble to +15. The sound in general sounds very good, the bar gave life to my living room and the bass sounds perfect without making the house rumble, the only thing is that the sound sounds opaque, it lacks clarity, I do not know if all the bars they sound the same, I had always had a separate speaker system, this is my first sound bar. Hope this is fixed by adding the rear speakers.

easy setup and great sound upgrade through sound bar and sub. Purchase is recommended to enhance both viewing experience but also listening to SiriusXM and Pandora through bluetooth or adding apps to smart TV.

It sounds good, but it’s kinda small for my living room, so I would be upgrading it Pretty soon and move this to smaller room.

I picked this up as an open box item for way less that priced. Over all its an ok speaker. Mids and highs are ok. Bass is barely there and even cranking the gain up in the menus doesn't bring it up enough to satisfactory levels. I bought this for my kids play room as the displays speakers were not adequate. This fot the cost and qas open box so i didnt have to worry about the kids beating up a new soundbar. It will work. There are better more cost effective options out there.

Works absolutely perfect with our LG OLED TV. Incredible sound. Very easy to install and set up. Running the music app through this unit is a no brainer. Great sound quality.

This is by far one of the best purchases I've made in a while. This sound bar is very easy to set up. Although there were some difficulty getting to audio optical cable connected at first, outside of that, it is purely straightforward from there. The seamless connection between the soundbar and the sub woofer was right way without any configuration. Bluetooth connection was a breeze. My only issue if after disconnecting the bluetooth, I have to toggle through to features to get back to the optical audio input, it doesn't do it automatically. This soundbar aesthetically looks great with my LG TV and I couldn't have asked for a better sound system.

I never realized how different a soundbar makes the TV audio. It was easy to set up and i was able to control it woth my apple TV remote. 11/10

Great system and extremely easy to setup. The sound is incredible and the sun is great for movies or games.

I bought as a replacement to my 11 yr old "Onkyo receiver and Definitive Speakers" for an equally old TV , which is not the prime watching device . I am far from impressed with this....Other than the fact that it is in the new line up from LG, I am struggling to figure out the purpose behind this SP7** line. It has got everything that you want ... wireless, optical connect, DTS and all that and comes with ease of us and fast setup...but there is something missing .. it lacks the punch for a 420 W. I have an SN10YG which I got recently and that is a monster...so it is perhaps unfair to compare the SP7 with that...however I find the product is certainly not worth what it costs now...I would rather go with the 3.1 SN6Y. I am not saying this is not worth it, just that it falls short in sound quality and overall value.

Bought this to go with my new LG tv. Works great together, sounds good and is easy to connect to the tv or Bluetooth to my phone to ply music.

Pretty good sound on a budget. Won't knock your socks off but is WAY better than nothing.

A lot better sound can't believe how great it is for the price better sound then sound bars for twice the price
