Very quiet machine with large capacity. Very good features. We will see if it lasts.

My family suffers from allergies. This machine has a cycle that eliminates up to 99 percent of allergens. The many washing options are great, especially the jumble cycle for comforters. I also suffer from severe arthritis. This machine's controls are so much easier to use than my old machine.

As far as washing goes, it does the job. It is loud! Not the spin cycle, but all the others. If you like water pressure to take a nice shower, expect the hot water valve on this to whistle like a teapot...and I mean a loud teapot. My last front load washer was quieter. If you have low water pressure and you don't mind the noise, this washer would be good. However, at the price you pay, I would expect better engineering. LG replaced the valve, still screams.

This LG is brand new and already destructive. I opened my load of whites tonight to find my two beautiful cotton nightgowns ripped to shreds at the bottom. The entire bottom of one was ripped off and hanging by one part in the back. The other had the same rips and damage, but the more of the bottom was still attached. Both are destroyed. These were washed on the cotton setting with ONE extra rinse. Cotton nighties, cotton setting. So be prepared for your fancy new washer to be rendered useless for washing anything you value. Now I'll only use the delicates setting and lingerie bags until they come out and either haul the flipping thing off or fix it. I got the warranty per my parents and sister's encouraging because my sister had problems with her new washer as well (my mom just said it was also an LG-with mold issues). I saw no reason to because my Kenmore front loader I bought 12 years ago only JUST started having issues. But in the end I did get the warranty via Home Depot. Apparently that was wise. 12 years running with my Kenmore versus 1 month this LG. Consumer's Reports rates this one of the best washers out there in terms of cleaning. It does clean well, but is that enough? It's capacity is also huge and that is what made me buy it, but I don't want to see anyone go through the anger I am going through over this--something this expensive destroying things after a month. I'm raging and infuriated. Do no companies make a quality product anymore?

Love it!! @ times my kids forget another item and yes.., I am so obsessive that I have to reopen the washer to insert the remainder clothes. Certain settings, once set & have started, it won't allow you to stop it and unlock to do so. But that's only a minor thing..., the washer is awesome.

Gets the job done better and faster than any Washer I've ever owned, not to mention the fancy beeping it does when finished. Love it.

got this for my mother as a gift and it is huge! she likes the capacity as she can get more laundry done quicker.

This washer is very quiet. It clean very well without any damage.

Has every option and more, every load is easy to use. Amazing how much water is saved compared with the traditional top loader. You not only save on water but the energy heating the water. Next to a iPad the wife likes her new washer as her second best gift I gave her.

I LOVE this machine. I have a family of 5 and we go through a lot of laundry. This washer can even make my mechanic fiance's work clothes smell fresh! I'm hooked.

This is the perfect washing machine for a family of any size. I love that you have many options. Well worth the money!

I've always bought Samsung appliances, so this was going out on a limb for me. I'm pleased to say I'm happy with the LG washer/dryer set. It looks great, is easy to operate, and gets the job done. My brother and sister-in-law bought the comparable Samsung set and I tried their's before I decided to go with the LG.

Bought this Washer to replace a 13 year old washer. Wife loves the size loads it can handle and w/the pedestal, she doesn't have to bend when loading and unloading. Hope it keeps working like it does at present (had it for about a month). So far so good.

Cant believe how fast my clothes get clean now! Love the new design of the drain on the front seal too.

Love it for the capacity, can use a speed wash.. saves time and water. Only thing don't like is... it is noisy when it kicks in the water. It may be because the water pressure is too much going into the pipes at once.

Great washer and worth every penny! Uses very little water but you'd never know it !
