As the bowl is much deeper and sits in corner of room it would have been nice to be able to see when you miss picking out the stay sock or item left in bowl. Takes a while to get use to the new system of washing from my old agitator style but no issues with washing or spinning.

It didn't take long to realize some loads were not getting clean. I understand HE and minimal water usage, however oftentimes the washer does not draw enough water and the clothes do not turn adequately, resulting in a re-wash. I've tried using the CL additional water selection but it doesn't help much. Have also had a couple problems with wash cycles getting hung up and needing to be reset. Gave one star because sometimes it works like it should. All things considered, would not recommend this washer.

LG 5.2 cu ft 14 cycle

Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Not sure why I bought the same LG washer that had to be replaced after less than 6 years. Less than 2 years in on this new one and the same problem has happened. The agitator plate was thrown once again. I'm sure the warranty is up, so this will entail a service call. What was I thinking??? Very bad investment for over $1000. Shame on me.

I was told it was the same size as my old maytag Neptune, but this is huge. I can easily wash a king AND queen blanket together and it actually does a great job of tumbling them thoroughly. The quick wash is a bit less thorough, not tumbling and agitating them as much but the regular wash is great. Hope it lasts as long as they say.
