I bought the set several years ago. The dryer works fine, but the washer is another story. I've had clothes torn, lint all over clothes (no matter how many times I've cleaned it and used those Tide Pods), but my biggest issue is, no matter how careful I am loading (and re-loading over and over again), it will not balance correctly. If I'm not watching it, it will refill with water and start over and over again. Especially when it's in the spin cycle. I have to stand there and babysit it through. If it stops when it is not supposed to, I have to be right there in front of it to stop it and try to re-balance it (sometimes over and over again). I have seen it go perfectly right to the last minute (which sometimes is about 10 to 15 minutes long), stop, then begin to refill again. I can place a load in the dryer (like yesterday), and a load in the washer (time set on dryer was 120 mins., time set on the washer was 54 mins.), and when the dryer stops after 120 mins., the washer still has 34 mins. (or more depending on anymore stops and refills) to go. They should change true balance to true unbalance. Meanwhile, it would be nice to have someone babysit it for me and re-balance the loads every time it stops, so I can do something else with my life. Not to mention how embarrassing it is when I'm standing outside in the garage, standing over the washer when neighbors walk by. This is the first washer that I've had that wasn't american made and I haven't been nothing but disappointed in it. LG should stick to TV's and leave appliances alone.

I am waiting to schedule the third visit from the LG repairman. I went on the discussion board at the LG website and found another video of this washer making the same noise.I have emailed LG and basically they say thanks for being a loyal customer and thank you for your patience. BEWARE you might have to schedule multiple visits to get your brand new washer to stop squeaking. But don't feel badly you are not alone. Apparently they don't want to recognize there is a problem and like to order multiple parts to try and fix it.

Washes great, turbo and extra fill great features.

We purchased this based on reviews and we received it and had it leveled. It squeaks all the time. Image a mouse squeak every time the drum turns for a full hour plus each time it's run. The drum was confirmed to be out of balance. We had a second one delivered thinking we got a dud. This one squeaks every time and constantly gives a ue code for uneven when any larger items are placed inside (i.e. think pillow or blanket). We really do not like this washer. The dryer seems good, though. Even if we get a good one, who says it won't do the same things outside of warranty.

I purchased this machine. Afterwards I went to the LG website only to find out that the drain hose for all new LG top loaders can"t be less than 35 inches from the floor. Otherwise, you will have leak, etc problems. Measure your drain hose first!!

I purchased this July 2018. Wash cycles do not effectively clean the sweat smells out of sheets and work clothes. I’ve never had this problem with any other washer. Overall does NOT clean well. Easy-to-remove stains don’t come out. Everything is very, very wrinkled, too, so now I have to iron clothing more often. I’m VERY disappointed in this expensive washer. I miss my old top load agitator washer!

The machine is rusting near the bleach fill area and LG refuses to take responsibility. After researching the issue, it turns out this is happening to a lot of other machines.

Something must be wrong with my washer. I read the reviews and most say it's so quiet you don't know it's running. Mine is so loud, I had to turn up the volume on my TV. I've had it a day, have washed a variety of sizes and settings, and it's still so loud. I would not have bought a machine this loud.

I bought an LG washing machine based on the good reputation of LG appliances, but I have been experiencing frequent malfunctions, and the overall quality seems unsatisfactory. While I cannot speak for other LG products, I have decided that I will never purchase an LG washing machine again.

I should have listened to my aunt and not purchased this washer. It does not use enough water to properly clean. Most loads finish without some of the clothes not even getting wet! She told me she adds a bucket of water to each load, so I may take her advice and start doing the same.

Unfortunately, after only 3 years of use this machine started to overflow and flooded my house. Huge disaster. I purchased it based on reviews and reliability. Repair crew chipped but fix it, even though they really tried. LG customer service really didn't help. Disappointed

Terrible washer not cleaning well and broke down 2 months after warranty (touch screen panel stop responding)

this model is defected! it needs to be taken off the market.
