Washers had a very noticeable scratch on the door not acceptable from a brand new washer not too happy about it.

Large capacity. Efficient. Fairly Quiet. Like the color.

I bought the Washer, Dryer and Sidekick. Ran through several loads so far and really love the cleaning results. The WiFi setup; however, was not well documented and complicated. I ended up holding down the WiFi connect button and then searching on my iPhone for the Washer/Dryer WiFi connection (doing each one separately) - looked up my network settings for the gateway and plugged the gateway IP in the browser which took me to the network config page for the item... This finally get the device online and connected to SmartThinQ. The App, what a terrible effort, it has not been updated since 2014 and clearly does not yet support either product (at least on the iPhone). I found a PDF for LG's Home Chat which is a service through an app called "LINE" - downloaded and noticed it could add my Dryer but not the Washer... have not yet tried it, but it would be nice if I could tell when a cycle was finished since my pair are in the basement. Tried via the website and it constantly fails on the Washer - cannot upload onto either device pre-programmed wash/dry settings from the website - it just goes to a page cannot be found. The Sidekick, only have had the pair up and running since this last week and have only tried this with one load. It is small (as expected) so really only useful when you have a small load - like a single outfit or what not. Also, in case you are wondering, the Sidekick does not have WiFi integration. The steam function on the Dryer, experimented with this - it basically squirts water on the clothes, there is a sanitary steam function which eventually turns the squirting water into steam - have not had a reason to try this yet so not sure how well this function works. But it does seem to squirt/spray what seems like a lot of water... [based on an empty drum] I may seem highly critical, but for this price point I would have expected everything promoted about these devices to work out of the box. Once they do, and I can be upstairs and my phone tells me to transfer the wash to the dryer or that it's time to fold the laundry, then I will be excited about my purchase! Because these are otherwise pretty great!

This is my 3rd front loader washing machine since they were first available. This is by far the quietest one and we absolutely love that. It washes like any others out there, which is to say the clothes come out clean as they're supposed to be. The difference in this one is that it is big enough for our king comforter. The steam cycle is nice. The WiFi is for an app that is currently only available for Android phones. They claim that the Apple support is coming soon. We love the styling though that's subjective. Keep in mind that this is a wide machine. The door had to be removed to slide it in. Another neat feature is the drum light that you can switch on and off. An important one is the small access door at the bottom. This makes it easy to clean the build-up that happens naturally due to the design of front loaders. Do not buy a front loader washing machine without this. Otherwise, you'd have to take the whole front panel off the machine. We've only had 3 for 3 months. I'll update this should any issues occur. Also, Best Buy's Geek Squad delivered this for free and they were fantastic. We won't buy an appliance from anyone else.

Great washer, large capacity. Never figured out the LG wifi thing but that's ok. Washes large loads quickly, quietly and efficiently.

I purchased this set over a month ago and I am still in awe of how much laundry this unit can handle. It is virtually silent (besides the drain pump & spin) my set is very close to the master bedroom and I cannot hear the washer or dryer from the room. The turbo wash feature covers the clothes in a high pressure spray which in HE machines is a big deal! I cannot express how much I love these units!

I got this as an open-box deal and even without the steep discount I received, I would highly recommend this washer (and dryer) combo if you can swing it. For being so large it is incredibly quiet and can facilitate any cleaning cycle you can dream up.

Love this washer! Geek Squad explained everything perfectly when they delivered and installed it. The Speed Wash is amazing and the video on TurboWash was really helpful. The machine quality is excellent, it makes very little noise, my clothes are clean, it has a wide variety of settings, and the chime it plays when it's done is charming. I could not be happier with this product. My only regret is that I didn't buy the laundry pedestal for small loads.

This LG washer is easy to use, has plenty of functions, and has a large capacity. Worth it.

We have had this washer for 4 years, no issues, very quiet, I recommend this washer.

this washer is used to wash 3 adults and 2 kids worth of clothing. We are able to put 2-3 loads worth of dirty clothing into 1 wash cycle and have it come out clean. Its the perfect extra large capacity washer I have always wanted lol perfect thanks lg!! you've saved me so much time with this product ^_^

The machine has needed a new water pump after less than 1 year old, but more troublesome is the UE (Unbalanced Error) it throws every 2-3 washes. This is a large 5.2CF washer so it should be designed to hold a large load. We don't over load it but we do fill it to at least half way. What happens is the machine will nearly complete the cycle and get to the tail end of the spin cycle with approx. 3 minutes remaining then fail with a UE error. Once this occurs, it just sits there until you acknowledge it. You have to press the play button to resume it but it doesn't actually resume. Even though it says 2-3 minutes remaining it takes more like 20 minutes to complete. This doesn't seem too bad but when it happens on approx. every 1/3rd of washes it becomes extremely frustrating. I have even seen it throw UE errors when hardly anything is in there, just tshirts and shorts (no towels or heavy objects). And yes they were evenly distributed. I've had Geek Squad come out and they replaced the suspension and controller boards and now they say there is nothing else left to change and that it's improper loading. All I can say is our old Fisher and Paykel top loader handled the same clothing without issue. So if we are improperly loading this 5.2CF LG, then this machine is garbage.

Great washer! Capacity large enough for bedding! Excellent settings for quick loads to sanitary loads!

We purchased the LG WM9000HVA with the washer base attachment. From the first load we continue to experience the soap bubbling back up from the location where you add soap. This causes a buildup of soap residue that needs to be continuously cleaned. We do not overfill ever, if anything we under fill the soap to reduce the amount of back wash. If it wasn't so hard to move it into the laundry room and set-up (you need to have a couple friends on standby or pay for the delivery, it will be worth it) I would have returned the washer for something else.

I purchased this washer a little over a month ago with the hopes of linking it with my home network/Nest for smart grid features. LG offers a feature of smart phone control and delayed start when the cost of electric is a bit lower, however, they have yet to set this device up in their system as a device which offers this service. If you are looking to get use out of the smart grid feature, you may want to wait to buy or call LG and find out what their delay is. They have been less than helpful with me and that was a major selling point for us. Other than this, the washer functions well and the angled bin does help with loading clothes and keeping the seal clean. We hope to get more than 5 year of use from this which was all out Kenmore gave us. Door is a bit bulky and can not be removed to open the opposite way. Only the dryer offers this feature. Due to all of its features not even being able to function yet, at the time of this review I can't recommend it. I will update this review if they fix this concern.

We've had this washing machine for about 2.5 years. It washes/cleans well and never have had any issues with it's cleaning ability. Our issues have to do with the leaks this machine has sprung. From the bottom front of the washer, we would get water pooling up on the floor. After a short internet search, we learned that we must buy tub cleaning tablets and run the tub clean cycle once per month. About two years into owning this machine we would still get water pooling from under the washer...even a week after tub cleaning. After much additional internet research, we thought it could be some bad hoses or pumps. After taking apart sections of the washer and after some testing and trial and error, we discovered that the fabric softener dispenser would fill with water and overflow. BUT, we never use fabric softener. I had to take off some hoses and try to clean the fabric softener drain tube/outlet. That appears to have done the trick. There was hardly any debris blocking the outlet port. After all my researching, leaks seem to be an issue with this machine...hoses, pumps, water dispensers, etc.

We did a remodel and after much research we landed on this pair washer/dryer with pedestals. A year after purchase and we are still happy. This machines are twice as fast as our top load washer and standard dryer. We would recommend and buy again.
