Loved it at first then about 1.5 yrs after purchase the water pump breaks. Then a year after that it breaks again. Thank goodness we purchased the extended warranty. The first time it broke we waited a few days for them to come out and not have the part on hand. The part was shipped and then we had to wait for it to be repaired. I can only hope the repair man has the part on hand this time. When you splurge and buy top dollar appliances you expect them to work. Not to go without an appliance for weeks. You can still use the unit and manually drain it but it takes an hour and a half for a small load. And your dumping multiple 5 gal buckets of water. Very frustrating!

It didn't our dryer broke and we bought the dryer to this washer. Then we wanted a matching pair and that was a mistake. So we bought the washer in early part of 2021. It is now 2024 and the drain pump broke. When we looked into it it said that that part of the machine breaks all the time. We had it replaced and it still doesn't work. LG Smart Diagnosis, doesn't work according to LG

POOR SERVICE AND INSTALLATION

Installed it so fast and didn’t mind checking if it works. It was very hard to communicate because the people who came to install can speak only a bit of English. They left and water started running on my laundry floor. I went out to tell them but they were already. It was frustrating to talk with customer service. They won’t send anyone tomorrow to fix the problem. Now, my floor is flooded with water and have no one to fix it. So disappointed with the service provided.
