After looking at the different washers we canceled this order and got the Samsung front loader

No more open box purchases, promised me that there was nothing wrong....

Not worth the price. I am not impressed with it!!!

I always like to read the Cons first, so ... > you will need a water hammer arrestor installed on the cold water inlet fro this washer ... some can be had for as low as $12 and easy to screw on like a garden hose ... Very depemdable and easy to use. Holds a lot of cloths abd is quiet

After a number of washers that marched through this house that was for 6, now for 2 we thought the best was Cabrio, so when the spin cycle beat it to death, thought Duet, the latter rated the worst, smallest, ill assembled but last a few months longer than the rest. When this beauty arrived, it was WOW head & shoulders over anything past. Cycles go from 28 min turbo to over 1.5 hr and settings for most everything under the sun. Two or even three loads vs Duet, easier to load from top + even the glass door top we couldn't afford (+$100) when buying the Cabrio. Important to note that most don't rate how its cleans = "A" depending on getting to know what it likes so at first it's "A-" to "A+" All the other standard ratings like noise, blah blah are going to be tops.

I love this top loader washing machine. It will do the job. Only thing after few years start leaking on the back where the water connects to the washing machine. I am still using it but needs to put water around to soak the water. Still a good washing machine out there.

We bought a pricey LG large capacity washer (model WT5001C) only 5 years ago and it is already headed for the junk yard. (The average washer lasts 10 years according to consumer reports). We just had it serviced 9 months ago for $350 and now it has quit again. The technician put in new electronics and now it takes FOREVER to run it’s cycles and is always stopping mid-cycle with an “unbalanced” code which means I need to go downstairs and redistribute the load...often multiple times a cycle. I absolutely HATE this machine and would NEVER buy another. Please do yourself a favor and avoid LG.

I seriously have never hated a washer more than this one. If I fill the washer more than two thirds full, it doesn't have enough power to move the clothes around to wash them. It never puts enough water in the washer to get all the clothes wet. I have to pause the washer with every load and push the water plus button 2 or 3 times and by then half the time is gone and some loads that's still not enough to get all the clothes wet. I should be able to fill the washer to the top, turn it on and walk away and come back to clean clothes. Not the case here. I have to stand there and watch it to see how many times I have to pause it and push the water plus button and then most of the time it needs to be restarted since there will then not be enough time left to wash the clothes. Maybe I have a defective one since most other people don't seem to have the same problem. But my washer completely sucks and it makes no sense to make a washer so big that doesn't have the power to agitate the clothes. I'm hoping for it to flat out die so I have a reason to buy a new one but this one is only 2 months old

I don't understand how 80+ people call this washer quiet. The spin cycle is so loud that sometimes I though there was a helicopter hovering over the neighborhood. Another dislike that I have is how long it takes to wash in the heavy duty mode.

Bought it in 2017 and it died in 2023 they just don't make machines like they used to

Loved our LG washer until, after only 3 years and 7 months, the agitator broke off, It was determined that the shaft that ataches the agitator had broken off. Of course, it was out of warranty :(. The repairman suggested we not invest any more in the washer and that we get a new washer. This is no reflection on Best Buy, where we have always received great service. But other consumers may be interested in knowing this.

After 3 weeks of use it started making a squeaking noise during the agitation cycle. I called LG and they sent a tech out and he replaced the transmission. It still did it. He called in support and they say it might be a engineering issue. What happens is that when it agitates there is a piece of foam in the back of the tub that hits the back steel panel and squeaks when it hits. They say I will have to wait until someone comes up with a fix for it. Looking at the other comments here I don't see anyone else complaining about it. Other that the issue about it is ok. One load that was pretty large but not full too 2:15 to wash. That's crazy. I will update if I get it fixed.

Bought a WT7500CW and a match LG dryer earlier this year. Soon after delivery the knob selector on the washer became a little unrespsonsive so Best Buy replaced the washer. A few months later the squeaking noise has become louder and louder during the agitation cycle. Called LG directly and they sent out a tech to check it out. The diagnosis was that the clutch mechanism was not properly lubed and a new clutch would need to be replaced. The technician suggested that it would be better to ask Best Buy to replace the unit completely because the process of changing out the clutch might damage other things, he said. What a terrible product!

So, we have owned and used this washer for about 1 1/2 months. We purchased this unit because we needed a higher capacity washer than the front-loader we had and this was on sale at a good price. We have certainly not been disappointed! This is a great washer. We have cut our washing loads in half and, I believe, the clothes are cleaner.

I got this washer because it had such good reviews. But this thing is not worth then money any machine has to be better then this. Every time I use it the UE sign comes up and I have to move the clothes around again. It has taken me sometime over 2 hours to get a load done because the UE keeps coming up. Don't buy this machine it is a waste of money.

We bought this on 8/27/2018. According to an invitation to buy from LG received on 2/12/20, our warranty expired on Aug. 27, 2019. Unfortunately for LG, their machine couldn't last 3 months past the warranty date . Main electronic board failed first week of Dec. Repaired by Servicecare on Jan 15, 2020 for $532.00. Purchase price from Best Buy $944.99 (no tax) You do the math.

LG Washer all rusted out. While stainless steel drum and motor are fine, the housing is crumbling making the machine unusable. Saw online reviews that this is a common problem and class action lawsuit underway. LG says nothing they can do. Won't repurchase LG.

It sounds like a puppy is inside it, yelping as it agitates. I'm working with the Geek Squad Service, they've tried working with the shock absorbers, and greasing fittings, but, so far, it still squeaks. Not sure what to do, it's annoying. I would get another model #...
