I absolutely love how this washer looks and operates! Sleek looking, very quiet and cleans well, however im disappointed that the bleach dispenser on a washer I’ve only had 6 weeks is discolored. Ive done maybe 5 or 6 loads total using the bleach dispenser and always rinse it out, but notuced this morning the dispenser is now discolored. A machine this expensive and this new shouldnt br doing this. The washer top is plastic and nit metal, so maybe thats why, but regardless this is cheap and unacceptable. I’ll be making a service call to have this replaced because this is a design defect, not user error.

This is a great washer, starting with its appearance and color option. I had an easy time and enjoyed doing my laundry like never before. Best Buy installed it for me and they did an absolutely fantastic job!

The washer does exactly what it’s supposed to do — it washes clothes really well. The auto dispense is super nice. Connects to my phone so it tells me when the washes done. The only problem is this high-pitched noise it makes when it starts spinning. It’s an electronic, super-annoying, ear-piercing sound — and I can hear it all the way upstairs, even though the machine is in the basement. And unfortunately you cannot hear it on a video. At first, I thought, there’s no way this is normal, so I scheduled a replacement. But when the new washer arrived… it did the exact same thing! Shoutout to the Geek Squad near me — absolute legends for hauling two washers down to the basement and one back up. I seriously appreciate them.

It doesn’t only look good on the outside but definitely has a lot of great functions/options to choose from! My favorite feature is that you can control it remotely using the ThinQ app. This is also good if you have a pet, it has a feature that sanitizes your beddings, clothing etc. Worth every penny!

Love the extra large capacity. We waiting a little longer for this model to be in stock. The large capacity was an absolute must. Well worth the wait. Keep in mind the dryer may not be able to accommodate the same capacity. Super easy to use and cleans clothes perfectly.

Purchased this washer, February 2025 and within the first two months it kept leaving black ink like marks on our clothes, bestbuy said to contact LG because of the warranty, LG came out a few times basically said it’s our problem that we let something get in the washer but also said they can’t see anything in the washer to make the marks

I purchased this and the driver wouldn't even bring it into my house because it was so badly damaged. I told them I'd live with it for now and they wouldn't bring it into the house claiming it wouldn't spin correctly. I was scheduled a WEEK later for a replacement. Well, that day is today and I just received a text that they are canceling and if I am lucky they can bring another one in FOUR DAYS. This is a product other stores have in stock and ready to deliver. Unfortunately I can't just change to another store because of the way my order was written. Nect time I see something like this I won't have to wonder if it's smart to buy a plastic major appliance.

The manual combined with LG chat and some trial and error made for quick learning as to how to operate this extremely advanced machine. Drawn to its beautiful black glass exterior and see through glass top, I soon found myself holding a flashlight to watch this fastinating high tech marvel go to work. After loading my closed and choosing a cycle, the washer began by weighing the clothing and sensing the proper amount of water to add. The show begins as water is sprayed into the tub combined with your chosen amount of detergent and softner. Then as I watched mesmerized and entertained simultaniously, I found myself listening to what reminded me of waves in the ocean. Soft and gentle, quiet abd relaxing. A washing nachine thats relaxing? I couldnt believe it either but it is true. So while the clothing sways back and forth as the motion of the tub pushed the water around to cleanse them, I wondered initially how they would come out, never having owned an impeller machine before and questioning if less water really was all that was necessary. But i just trusted and continued to watch the show. As i held my flashinght looking into the machine i noticed that the dirty water drains out next and then comes the rinse cycle where water sprays from many directions. Finally after draining again,the spin cycle begins. This was the most exciting, kinda scary, truely hypnotic and mesmerizing part of the entire " washing machine show" for me. I never in my life saw anything move so fast. After speaking with the LG tech this week I learned that the spin cycle reaches 1200 revolutions per second. Holy Cow. Thats just incredible. No wonder it has a safety lock. Some great features include being able to pause the washer any time you like to add more clothes or to adjust the settings or to add more water or to balance the load by hand if necessary. Choosing the right setting can be tricky at first as you figure out which cycle does what. Most cycles allow you to adjust the default settings to change the water temp for example but some dont. Most cycles alliw you to add water with deep fill but not all. For example the Normal Wash Cycle will default to the Deep wash cycle when you click on deep fill so it changes the cycle itself. These specifics take time to learn and some trial and error. You can also use the wifi app which i noticed is especially helpful when other people in the house use the washing wachine and forget to unload it. I get all notifications not just my own loads but everytime anyone does a load it notifies the app which we all share on our cell phones I have been very surprised when it says load complete abd i wasnt even aware that anyone was running the washer. This confirmed to me how quiet this machine is esp when my last washer was so loud I could hear it throughout the house. There are many preprogramed cycle options that the machine comes with and by selecting " more setting" on the main dial you can even customize other cycles to add to the dial to choose from. The options are almost endless. You can also use a detergent sheet and turn off the detergent and softener option which would otherwise have the washer add them during the wash cycle if you so chose to. The clothes always come out very clean and smell good. I gave been very impressed be it delicate sheets and down pillows or panties and silk nighgowns everthing is free of lint and pilling, without rips or snags as I used to experience with my aggitator machine. Sometimes I lower the spin cycle when washing only 10 articles of clothing or less cuz its possible that too much motion can cause an unbalanced load to occur when there are very few things in the tub. If that happens its during the spin cycle and the best solution is either to reposition the clothes or to add a clean towel for balance or turn down the spin setting. Just being aware of these issues helps to prevent them from occuring in the first place. I love this washer. I was always skepticle about impeller machines but now i would never go back to an agitator machine that used to eat up my clothes, stretch, and rip holes and create lint and pilling. I am so glad I bought thos LG washer and a 5 year warranty. I also love Best Buy. Having never shpped there much I was drawn to buying from them when I found out they offered a 60 say return policy with nembership. Since i had no idea what to get this was really important to me. I discovered that the store is great to work with and the employees are helpful and honest. They even did a price match for me 30 days after delivery with a competitor who had the washer and dryer on sale for a few hundred less. That was great timing and so awesome that they honored this aspect of their policy. Im sold on using Best Buy in rhe future and in buying LG for my future appliances.

Best Buy installers ran washing machine after installation with registration, owners manual with serial number. No way to register for warranty now.

After using the washer/dryer set for about 2 months, we really like all the features offered. We like the ease of use and making the selections on the fabrics we're washing and drying. We love the sleek look, the roominess in the machines and the smaller footprints. We do think that it's hard to find the on/off button because of the dark panel but it's not a big deal. Really love the steam function that took out about 80% of the wrinkles in a dress I wanted to wear (recommend letting it run the full 10 minutes of steam, because I took it out after 5 minutes and it was damp). I didn't think I would ever purchase LG, but so far it's been a really nice doing laundry. One thing is my elderly mother is petite and has a little difficulty reaching down to the bottom of the machine to get some of her laundry, but we have one of those senior aids that helps her reach down.

We have a history with LG appliances. We replaced a 13 year-old washer, which was also an LG. That washer had very minimal issues over the years, but started to rust near the bleach intake. This model has a plastic surround where the bleach is added, so there will no longer be a concern of rust forming there. It has detergent and softener reservoirs that are to be filled and will automatically dispense the correct amount. I am very skeptical of this performing well in the long run, but it has had no issues so far. The motor is similar to the last model and operates quietly. There are a large number of cycles and further options that are far beyond what we usually use. The machine looks very nice, with matte paint and a shiny glass top, if good looking appliances are your thing. Fingerprints do become an eyesore on the control panel, but only if you spend too much time doing laundry! I am most impressed with how much more stable the feet keep the machine during the spin cycle. The feet are more robust than the prior model and I have yet to experience issues with movement. We opted to go without the agitator again, which was largely influenced by our prior agitator-free LG washer having no issues with cleaning whatever was placed inside it. Overall, we are happy with the purchase.

Love this washer. I've had it for a year, no issues at all. works very good. remembers what loads I'm using and automatically dispenses soap and softener. I refilled them once a week or less. adjust everything on the LG app. notifications to the phone are super helpful to remember to move clothes into dryer in time.

Love this new washer that we recently upgraded to. Love the AI feature. This washer has a built in detergent and softener container. All you have to do is put clothes in and it measures for you the amount of each, the water and length of cycle! Large capacity and very quiet. Have a beautiful chime at the end of the cycle. Very easy to use as well.

The washer I bought works great and is easy to use. It has a lot of different settings for any wash you need. Totally satisfied with the purchase.

So far it has been great with this machine. It does the laundry very well and quiet.

Washer is good until you need warranty work. We needed the suspension and shock absorbers replaced after 4 months. Sounded like a golf ball bouncing whenever the tub moved. All LG support is obviously non-US and pretty worthless. Took many hours to get someone to actually understand the issue and get a warranty claim started. LG did cover the $425 in parts/labor so that was good. The process should be way easier. Both repair technicians recommended Speed Queen.
