I bought this washer 9 months ago for a new home. It's worked fine until very recently when it started giving an error message at the start of most loads. We contacted LG support and before they would ever send a tech they sent us a video telling us to take the impeller out of the bottom to make sure nothing was stuck in it and of course there wasn't. After that, they sent a service tech out who told us the motor needs to be replaced. LG will not send more than one tech to move the machine and do the repair even though two were needed to bring it into the house and upstairs to the laundry area. I spoke to a manager at LG and they said they will only pay for the service company to send one tech for any appliance repair. I think its ridiculous to already need a motor replacement on a 9 month old washing machine that is only used in a household of two people, and even more ridiculous that the warranty doesn't even cover sending enough manpower to do the needed repair. This will be my last purchase of any LG product ever.

The washer does an excellent job. Relatively easy to use.

So far the washer has performed remarkably well. It is much quieter than the older LG model that it replaced. It also washes batches of laundry in less time which is a welcome improvement. Best of all, our clothes smell much fresher now.

LG Model WT8600CB - 5.5 cu. ft. Top Load Washer with AI Sensing. We took delivery of the washer in December 2024. We miss the water plus feature to add additional water. This is crucial because the washer rarely adds enough water for easy movement of the cloths in the water. The automatic water level also, at times, adds too much water. As with our previous LG washer the water flow is slow and unnecessarily extends the wash time.

I love this product. It fits ton of cloths and easy to use. I would totally recommend this product

A really good high capacity washer with a TON of customizable cycles. We switched from a font load machine and I’ve noticed the clothes just don’t get as clean overall, but we are happy with the purchase.

I am very happy with my LG washer. Getting use to the top loader, but I think it is much better than the front loader. I’m so glad I don’t have to deal with the door seal getting moldy and slimy. It was grossly a pain.

Have had the washer a month and it is used everyday. Works as promised. Can use soap dispensing system or pods. I have been using pods.

This machine has a huge capacity and you fill the detergent and softener reservoirs and it will tell when you need to refill them again. You don't have to add detergent to every load

Love this LG! Best feature for me is the dispenser which holds enough softener and detergent for several loads at a time.

Wow! What a machine! First day using this washer after being without one for 3 mos. Very impressed and still learning all the washer’s capabilities. Today used the AI option. Very state of the art. Capacity to do bedding impressive as is the quietness of the machine.
