Water waster

The “smart” washer doesn’t like any other feature than the normal preset. Try any other cycle or special feature and something goes wrong—it’ll either run through multiple cycles of rinse and drain or it won’t drain at all and end the cycle like it’s complete. A “quick wash” will calculate at 28 minutes and then an hour I walk by the laundry room and it somehow has 32 minutes left on the cycle. Spin-only option never works. Sometimes it shakes violently at the start of a cycle and sometimes it doesn’t. We will get random error messages that clear after turning the machine off and back on. Of course all this started happening just as the warranty ran out. For reference, we run clean cycles regularly and have had it balanced professionally twice.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this washer 2 1/2 years was great love the wi-fi and Alexa enabled, love that you can put your own cycles, but the ON button seemed to not want to work anymore cannot touch to turn on, tried to get it fixed well you can't it's a very sensible touch so I have it uncovered so I can turn it on, Also a few weeks ago it doesn't want to do any wash cycle it fills with water and gets ready to do the cycle and then it just sits doing nothing with an IF code showing hate to have to buy another one so soon. Final verdict it's a good washer but has to many glitches after so little time I would expect this after 6/7 years maybe not now, Washers are not what they used to be now they only last 2-3 yrs. tops.

I mean hurricane through my house hearing torrential downpour of water sounds throughout my house. It is on one side and I can be on the complete opposite side of my house and hear it like I'm sitting next to it. I can hear it over the radio, over the TV - it is LOUD! Because of the reviews that it was quiet (seriously what did you have before if this is quiet) I reached out to LG to make sure something wasn't wrong. Nope - this model is just LOUD. I wouldn't have bought it if I knew I was going to feel like I was in a rainstorm every time I needed to do laundry.
