A Workhorse of a Washing Machine.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The LG washer and dryer set is perfect for our family, the graphite steel looks great, the pair work perfectly and the energy efficiency saves us money. We also got a nice rebate from our electric company. It took awhile to get used to the many features, the downloadable manual from LG's website has been a lifesaver. The washer is deeper than our old one, for shorter folks simply spin the drum towards you to reach the clothes towards the back when the wash cycle is complete. The cycle completion melody is a nice touch, it sure beats the truck horn sound of our old Maytag. We've had our set about a month and so far, so good. I definitely recommend this washing machine.

Top load w/o ringer washer
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My old washing machine would not die (Maytag). It was old and would no accommodate queen sized bedding so I bought this LG high capacity. It has many options that I have not used yet but I love the efficiency and the quality of the cleaning. The ease of use is awesome as well. I do not have young children but I think one of the best features is that the door locks when I start the cycle. I also love the spin only cycle; great feature.

Love it!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far it's great. My only problem is that I am too short to reach the bottom of the tub, but I knew that when I purchased it. A small stool in the utility is a quick fix. It is a great improvement over my older front load washer.

Love doing laundry
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am in love with this washer! I enjoy doing laundry so much now! The tub size is insane which makes laundering our king size bedding a breeze! I can’t say enough for this washer.

Great size, love the graphite steel
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This washer is huge, and I love that it does not have an agitator to get in the way! The graphite steel looks great, but it does show dust and scratch easier than a traditional white appliance. I am 5'6' and have no trouble reaching all items in the tub after washing. I have not downloaded any of the extra cycles, and have been please with the options already on it. I have a cabinet on the wall above the washer that is too low to allow the washer lid to open fully, and thought we'd have to move it up after we moved the washer closer to the back wall. But the lid does stay up, and it opens enough to easily get clothes in and out, and to load detergent. I've had it about a month, and am very pleased with it.

Love it
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's huge for me and no matter how much I put in the washer it's never full. If you feel it needs more water then you can select it and I could not be happier with it

Disappointing
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this washer after reviewing lots of makes and styles online and checking reviews. I am really disappointed in LG for this and the dryer I got to go with it. I wanted the extra large tub so I could wash queen-sized bedding. It is very loud and clunky sounding when it runs and sounds like it is falling apart. You cannot put your clothes in as displayed online on 'how to load LG washer'. You have to place your items AROUND the low-lying agitator at the bottom. If you don't, your items that are in the middle stay in the middle. Sometimes they aren't even damp when the load finishes - it's like they never got washed to begin with. I had the same problem with my last washer (GE) and I hated it. So you have to be careful when you put your laundry in to only have it around the outside portion and NOT as displayed online. I have no problem with the controls or control panels - it is nice and works well and so does the soap/fabric softner dispenser.

Top Load at its Best
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well designed and full featured. Set it and it does the rest. Huge capacity, now do half as many washes. We have a front load machine at another location and much prefer this top load unit.

More water???
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It seems it needs a little more water to wash, but I don’t know how to fix this. Also the tub is very deep and my arms do not reach the bottom. I purchased a grabber and problem solved.

Great washer!
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great washer with a ton of space. I like that it can hook up to my phone and sends stats on loads per month and reminders when to clean the tub.

It's OK
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The washer's large capacity is nice; however being that I am short, 5'1", it's difficult to reach small items at the bottom of the machine without a stepping stool. Bedding tends to get tangled and wrinkled, so when I dry the items, although they fit in the washer, I need to dry them separately. I don't like all the pre-programmed settings. I wish I could make my own selections. Although you can bypass the locked lid, it will stop filling the machine with water. It would be nice to have access to the water since the machine is set up in the garage.

More quiet than expected and a great low cost
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I didn't have it installed unti my laundry room remodel was completed in August 2020, but I just love it! It's so very quiet you don't remember you are washing clothes until the reminder ring.

Happy with our washer!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first washer without an agitator and I was worried, but this washer is great! Reading the manual is a must--had to scan the QR code on the front of the one that comes with it to get the full thing, but it's worth it to know what all the settings are. Clothes get clean, stains come out. We do a LOT of laundry, and we never feel the need to use the "water plus" setting to get more water. It's just different that the clothes aren't all underwater, but everything comes out clean and fresh if you just trust the process. No problems with any detergent residue that I've seen mentioned with some washers.

Mrs.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is big! Holds sleeping bags and other large items. It is a little too deep to easily reach in to retrieve small items but a little stretching may be good for me (75 years old).

Great washer for the $
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great washer holds a lot of clothes, cleans well and I love the fact that I can link it to the LG app and it tells me when the laundry is done as the tone is very quiet and hard to hear.

Worst washer machine
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the worst and the most expensive washing machine I’ve ever had. Every two months some sticky, dirty, and disgusting thing spreads through the inside of the machine. I have called for technical support three times and they always say the machine has no problems and they don't find anything wrong with it. In addition to this, in the last months the “normal” program wash lasts about 15 minutes and then shuts off, when it is supposed to last 101 minutes. I will never recommend this machine to anyone!!!
