Good results and pretty intuitive electronics. You need to be fairly tall/flexible to reach the bottom well. With hoses it was a bit deeper than expected and does not fit the space of my old machine even though I measured. These are just things to consider more carefully if you are buying this washer. Pretty quiet and efficient. Very high capacity.

Washer works great. It has lots of wash cycle options that are fairly intuitive. Washer controls are easy to use. The machine is relatively quiet, especially compared to our old washer. We haven't yet come close to using all 5.5 cubic feet, but the washer works fine with small loads and up to the load of blankets (about 3 cu. ft.) that we ran recently. This washer is expensive but worth it.

Model WT7800CW I've had this washer about 8 months now, replacing my 17-year-old model. The features on new machines are such an improvement. They use less water, save money and detergent, but take more time. This one is a top-loader with a clear top and you can watch it go through all the routines, amazing! It senses the amount of clothes and determines the amount of water and time it will take. I had to get used to the fact the top locks as soon as you press the start button, right after you spot that odd sock that fell out of the laundry basket and did not get in. There is a time when the lock unlocks so you can add something if you need. One of the concerns I had prior to buying this washer was the height of the machine. I am 5'1" and based on other reviews I assumed I would need a stool. To my surprise I can get everything out of the drum by turning the drum to get the clothes near me and then maybe standing on my toes. At first I used an extra hanger to hook things, but soon discovered it only took a turn of the drum. The Owner’s Manual that came with the machine caused me a lot of frustration, and did not answer my questions. I read a lot of reviews and found others were also frustrated, and had the same questions. Example: I like to use Cold water wash and not all cycles allow that – which cycles do? I decided to look online to see if a larger manual was available. I found a much larger one, User Guide, and printed pages 22-32 to keep them near the machine for reference. This info is not the same as that in the Owner’s Manual that comes with the machine, and is much more useful. For instance, Pg 22 has Illustration and info on Control Panel Features. Pg24,25 have detailed info on Wash Cycles. Most important Pg 26-28 have a chart of Cycle Guide showing easy to read info on each cycle and which options are available for that cycle, such as: Soak, Stain Care, Cold Wash, Extra Rinse, Water Plus, Turbo Wash. Also shows which Wash Temps, Spin Speeds, and Soil Levels are available for each cycle. Pg 29-32 Cycle Modifier Buttons contains extra info that I find useful. These pages will save you time and aggravation trying to figure out the answers from the Owner’s Manual. To find the User Guide, go to LG.com and select Support. Then enter the model WT7800C. Select from list: WT800CW You will see Manuals and Documents in the right column Select the second one: User Guide English/Spanish 10/26/2020 (the manual will open on your screen) Select the Operation section Then select topics: Control Panel, Wash Cycles and Cycle Modifiers (these are the topics I printed. My format has 2 columns and page numbers. The current online document has the same information but no page numbers and no columns. You use arrows on the left and right to move pages. NOTE: If you select the 3rd manual on the list you will get a zip file that needs to be unzipped. Not sure if it has the columns and the page numbers. I love this washer now that I have the information I wanted. Have used several options and have had no problems.

We bought this to replace an older LG front load machine, and so far have been very happy with the purchase. The old front load was a nice unit, but just didn't have the capacity to wash the larger loads we like to do, primarily bedding like large comforters, etc. This easily handles those loads, and the amount of different cycles and settings allows you to tailor each load to specific needs, An added bonus is that the machine is much quieter than the old machine.

So far so good, have had the washer for 60 days now. The manual was easy to read and follow. Easy to operate. The settings are easy to understand. Controls are big enough to see and use. The washer has done what it is supposed to do and that is clean clothes. It is fairly quiet as well and our laundry room is on the 2nd floor.

We love the washer. The prior washer (not LG) was given to us by the contractor. The prior washer, was new, but sounded like rocket ship taking off. The service man said that is the way they sound. The LG is quiet, efficient, handles a large load. I strongly recommend this washer

I recently purchased the LG - 5.5 Cu. Ft. 12-Cycle Top-Loading Washer. So, far it has worked fine. I was very reluctant to purchase another LG washer because the first LG washer I purchased: LG - 5.5 Cu. Ft. 14-Cycle Top-Loading Washer with Steam - Graphite Steel only lasted three years! The LG motor is guaranteed to last ten years, but the other manufactured parts are only covered for one year. Repair service, provided through my extended warranty could not fix the problems. So I was forced to purchase another washer. My husband decided to give the LG brand another try. Pros: The machine is quite Energy and water saver Slimline design Clothes come out really clean Cons: High price Doesn’t include steam function Graphite option cost almost another $500.00 dollars Manufactured parts only covered for about a year (what good is having a working motor when other functioning parts don’t work)

So everyone's first impression of this washer is...it's HUGE! It does have a very large tub and you can pretty much fit anything in there. So far, I have been really happy with it for it's washing ability. It gets stains out very well, as I have washed a bunch of items that were stained (I did pre-treat 1 with spray and wash, but the others I just ran). However, it cleans better if the load is more full, I had to rewash a single item I ran that got cat pee on it because it still smelled. Also the various cycles are really useful so far. I have even been able to wash my hockey gear in there on delicate, with no issues. It runs kind of loud if the load is small, but not any more than any washer I had before. It needs very little soap, don't fill the dispenser full, I did once and it left some suds. I have NOT tried the wireless features yet, because we really don't need them.

We've only had this washer for about a month but I frickin love it. It's huge, it's quiet, and it's a no-brainer to use. It literally takes three loads in the dyer to dry what this washes in one cycle. It's quiet, it weighs and senses the amount you've put in and fills and balances itself accordingly. Oh, and my wife likes it because the cloths get real clean.

Washer is incredibly efficient. The smart sense function does a great job of evaluating the size of the load and adjusts the time accordingly, which saves energy and water. Clothes come out clean, too! The Wifi functionality, though cool, isn't really useful. You have to turn on the washer, program it and then either set a timer, or go into your app to start the cycle. It would make more sense to be able to load your clothes and detergent and then turn your washer on via the app and start the cycle. It was nice to have a load washed and ready for me to transfer to the dryer when I got home, but the washer had to stay on the whole day. Washer is extremely quiet, compared to my previous LG washer. I would recommend purchasing this unit.

Replaced a 20+ year-old whirlpool washer. I didn’t realize how loud my old washer was and how much water it used. This LG washer is super quiet and calibrates each load to determine how much water is appropriate. The washer includes WiFi connectivity but it’s not very useful for me other than alerting me when the cycle is complete. I also think it includes reminders for maintenance and troubleshooting, but I have not had it that long. The spin cycle is mega fast leaving less work for the dryer. It is easy to set up the cycles and I actually look forward to washing clothes now. Lastly, I chose a top loader for less maintenance and decided against front load. I think I made the right decision based on what I was looking for. I definitely recommend this washer, especially if you can catch it on sale.

This is my first high efficiency top-load washer. it's different in how it works but it does the job. it's quick. quieter than my old maytag agitator. The tub is deep but small price to pay for such large capacity. No regrets so far

This LG washer is big! I knew that when I purchased it. It's exactly what I wanted and I like the options you have to work with, such as adding more water on a particular load. Yes it's high efficiency but if I want a deeper wash with more water I can get it, not so on my other washers. I also like I can set my own spin cycle, low, medium or high on a load. The drum is very deep so shorter people may not be able to reach over top and into the bottom to fetch your damp clothes. I'm 5'10' and I can barely reach the bottom but the advantage is I can now wash my king size comforter! This LG is also quiet compared to previous models I've owned. It has plenty of bells and whistles in which some I won't be using but If I change my mind at least its equipped.

We've had this washer for two weeks. So far, we've been very pleased. We chose this particular model because of it's very large capacity, the turbo wash feature and because it's a top load (no more stinky seal from a front load). The washer seems to clean the clothes well. The only issue is how very deep the tub is. I'm 5'7 and my feet are up off the ground when I'm getting little socks off the bottom. There is no way my 8 yo can reach, so if this is your kiddo's chore, you'll need a different model or a different chore. And, if you shorter than 5'7, you'll need stool.

I've only had the machine for a little over a month, but so far so good. There is no agitator in the middle of the tub, so clothes don't get off balance. The machine is quiet especially for the size load it holds. I think this because the tub spins side to side versus a front loader where it spins up and down which caused my floor to vibrate, and ultimately shortened the life of my front loader. I didn't need to read any instructions to figure out how the machine works, it's very easy to use. Although I haven't tried to use the app yet, and probably won't bother. I have exclusively purchased/used front loaders for the last 16 years and I'm so glad I went back to a top loader. If a washer could be beautiful this one is, but beware of fingerprints galore.

It has a VERY BIG tub, but it senses the size of the load and does not use too much water to wash whatever amount of clothes etc you put in. You can add clothes after it begins, you can add extra water to rinse-it has so many options. It took a little trial and error to figure out how to use all the options. I wanted to be able to wash my blankets and spreads at home-no problem with this washer. Only problem I have is I am 5 foot 2 inches high and cannot reach the bottom. I got a gripper/reacher tool and it works perfectly for smaller items at the bottom. I enjoy the little song it plays at the end.The delivery people were Covid safe and great, wore masks, used side door and took away my old broken machine and made sure it was working before they left.

We’ve been through 4 washers, yes FOUR, in a 30 day period. First arrived defective, 2nd didn’t arrive at all, 3rd arrived defective and smelling like it was on fire every time it ran... and that brings me to our 4th washer. Our first ever LG washer (previous models were all from a different company). I may have cried happy tears watching this machine wash my clothes. It is a beast this thing, my clothes are so clean! When it’s done, it sings to you! My only complaint (which really isn’t a complaint at all) is that I fell inside the washer trying to reach the bottom. I may be on the shorter side and this is a deep washer but I don’t even care! I love this washer and I can’t wait to have the matching dryer!
