The washer works besides it will not wash comforters. Very upsetting. The washing machine that I replaced it with was a smaller capacity and it could wash the exact same comforter.

We bought this to replace our previous LG WT5001CW which was the exact same model we bought 10 years ago, that failed right after 10 years when the motor/clutch and control panel died around the same time. This newer model has slightly fewer buttons which make it a little less complicated to use.

Very high quality, stainless inside and plenty of options to wash and dry whatever you need. On the dryer, really like the 2 way door that opens vertically for dropping laundry in from the washer without bending. Also opens horizontally for taking the items out. Wife loves them. Did I say they look great too? Highly recommend this set.

The "extra water" feature is wonderful! When washing large comforters, this is a blessing as I know the entire comforter is getting cleaned. Others complained about the length of time to complete some of the washes, but having used an LG prior, they are on par with those times, so no complaints here! Does a great job!

I am very impressed with the newer technology. It has been a bit hard to get used to the lack of water it uses. Don't get me wrong, its wonderful and has made our water bill decrease. I am not sure I like the lock function. The lid lock's when the cycle starts. I could see this becoming an issue if the washer was to have issues. The clothes would start to sour.

So happy with such a large washer that can handle our family of four. Now I cannot stand it. It waste more water and more of my time then I can stand. It will fill and empty 3 to 4 times if you wash anything but clothes. No matter how "balanced" you make the load. What should be a 25 minute wash for bathroom rugs turns into 2.5 hours because of the amount it fills and drains. Not to mention my time standing over the washer to stop it so I can pull my soaking wet rugs out and let them air dry. It has caused more fights in my house hold then I want to admit. It is very expensive and only cost you more in water usage.

Posted .We are sorry to see you are no longer happy with your washing machine. Check out the following information on how to get the best results from your washer:
Always use a laundry detergent with the HE label. These products are formulated to create fewer suds which is important since so much less water is used. More is not better when there is less water in the mix. Most loads only require one to two teaspoons of HE liquid laundry detergent or one single-dose pack. If you do not use the automatic detergent dispensers, place the detergent in the bottom of the drum BEFORE you add your dirty clothes. All single dose laundry packs must be placed in the bottom of the washer - never the dispenser. This will give the detergent the longest amount of time in the water to help get your clothes clean. When you load a HE top load washer, do not pile the clothes in the center. Evenly distribute the dirty clothes around the edges of the wash plate. This will help balance the load more quickly and speed the wash cycle. For best performance, load clothes as shown in manual on page 14. Load clothes loosely, and do not load clothes over the maximum guideline on the tub. Clothes need room to circulate in order to get clean.
