So happy with such a large washer that can handle our family of four. Now I cannot stand it. It waste more water and more of my time then I can stand. It will fill and empty 3 to 4 times if you wash anything but clothes. No matter how "balanced" you make the load. What should be a 25 minute wash for bathroom rugs turns into 2.5 hours because of the amount it fills and drains. Not to mention my time standing over the washer to stop it so I can pull my soaking wet rugs out and let them air dry. It has caused more fights in my house hold then I want to admit. It is very expensive and only cost you more in water usage.

Posted .We are sorry to see you are no longer happy with your washing machine. Check out the following information on how to get the best results from your washer:
Always use a laundry detergent with the HE label. These products are formulated to create fewer suds which is important since so much less water is used. More is not better when there is less water in the mix. Most loads only require one to two teaspoons of HE liquid laundry detergent or one single-dose pack. If you do not use the automatic detergent dispensers, place the detergent in the bottom of the drum BEFORE you add your dirty clothes. All single dose laundry packs must be placed in the bottom of the washer - never the dispenser. This will give the detergent the longest amount of time in the water to help get your clothes clean. When you load a HE top load washer, do not pile the clothes in the center. Evenly distribute the dirty clothes around the edges of the wash plate. This will help balance the load more quickly and speed the wash cycle. For best performance, load clothes as shown in manual on page 14. Load clothes loosely, and do not load clothes over the maximum guideline on the tub. Clothes need room to circulate in order to get clean. I had read the reviews, and I thought complaints about cycles or water levels were written by people who weren’t used to higher-end or higher-tech washers. Wrong. I’m experiencing similar issues, but I’ve already owned an HE washer (front loading — it got moldy). This washer makes me pine for a good old fashioned washer with 3 temperature, 3 spin speeds, and 3 soil levels. My super-smart new washer offers a million load variations, none of which are the load variations that I want. But you can’t change the preset temperature, spin speed, or soil level, so I’m having to figure out how to hack my own washer just to get the temperature I want. Why isn’t there a Manual or Custom load? I also wish that I had not paid extra for the extra-large capacity. This machine washes ok if you fill it almost as high as you’re supposed to be able to, but not well when filled to its maximum capacity unless you choose “Water Plus.” Even if you manage to get the washer to wash your extra large load effectively, its matching dryer can’t dry it. Yes, you read that correctly. You have to break the large load into smaller loads to get the dryer to dry, thereby negating the whole purpose of washing a very large load. I really wish I would’ve just purchased a simpler, smaller, cheaper washer and dryer set.
