It was installed by Geek Squad, but I did some more feet leveling to try to balance better. I hope the noise gets better as I don't think it could get any louder. I will continue to monitor and this might need to be inspected or returned.

The only reason we bought a new set is because we have remodeled our home and wanted a fresh set. MISTAKE! During the first wash we were startled by a horrendous noise coming from the laundry room. We contacted LG and to their credit, the repair technician came quickly and verified that all was not well. In fact, the transmission was bad. A brand new machine with a bad transmission. Come on LG, you lead us to believe that this puppy passed quality control? The Tech recommended that since it was brand new to contact Best Buy for a replacement. We have never experienced such product failure. However, LG did react fast and Best Buy will shortly deliver a replacement model. We do like the LG brand so will try again. However, IF we hear that nasty grinding transmission noise again.........then, like the man says...."you cant fix stupid"....LG.
