    Doesn’t fully clean blankets

    I like the features but we’ve had several washes where the blanket doesn’t get wet at the top (even in deep wash mode) let alone clean it. Not sure why... but not having an agitator seems to be an issue with this machine.

    The horrendous noise is real. The initial washer delivered and the replacement BOTH made a noise so LOUD that I'm sure my neighbors can here my washer running. I plan on returning it AGAIN, this time along with the dryer and moving on to another brand. The dryer was the only nice thing about this combo.

    LG 5.5 Cu.Ft. HE Smart Top Load w/ TurboWash 3D Tech. 1.5 year review. RUN AWAY. Since new, we already had the main board replaced, bearings and tub replaced, the motor, replace and now we are experiencing the same bearing noise already just out of warranty. The washer looks great, make cool noises the wife likes, but this particular Maytag is a piece. Oh, did I mention the glass top hinges are broke as well. You can still use the machine, its just another sore spot when you around $1K for a washer, YOU EXPECT MORE!

    Extremely loud - Bestbuy did a poor installation.

    Bestbuy's techs slammed the front down and messed up a magnet that interacted with the barrel when installing the washer. This leads to a miserably loud grinding noise. I contacted LG - so far, it has taken one failed service call and six weeks of waiting with no resolution. Between the installation and how poorly LG has responded to repair requests, I would not get an LG washer in the Littleton area due to the apparent lack of technicians

    Bought this to replace our GE front loader that stopped working. The wash cycles did not do a good job of getting kids clothes clean like our old GE did. Returned this unit and got the LG front loader, which works much better.

    I really hate I purchased it. It doesn’t clean my clothes. I have rewashed so many loads. Often times i have lookednon the inside and the clothes would not be covered in water, simply in the washer w/o being washed.

    This is my second purchase of this same washer the first and the second do the same thing. The spin cycle never stops. Stays on 1 minute for hours. The cloths are still wet. I did 15 loads of different weighted but like items and the results were the same. Looked as if not enough water to wash the cloths either. Sending this one back today and I got it today. Shame.

    Lg washer didn’t clean, it wrinkled my clothing. Best Buy was great they exchanged it at no charge to me for a Maytag which I love.

    AWFUL! First wash and my wife and I looked at each other like what is that noise?! Sounded like a bunch of plates rattling around together. Oh! That's coming from our brand new washer. Best Buy's phone system is an absolute joke to get a hold of someone. So, currently trying to figure out how to get someone to come look at it! Got the matching dryer combo too and the door is supposed to open sideways and downward, well the downward only goes about 1/4 of the way down and stops and won't move any further. I'm really wondering about LG right now. Best Buy - well, their phone system is one of the worst I have ever dealt with.

    Absolute trash. I had one delivered. Kept throwing error codes. Had a new unit delivered a week later, and the same issues are happening with the new washer. Everything pertaining to the codes has been checked and it’s definitely the washer. The only reason I’m giving one star is because the staff in store have been incredibly helpful. I will be returning and buying a completely different set.

    Bought this appliance back in 2020 and already am needing to replace the control panel because the on off button no longer works. The cost to repair is $300-400 and then on top of it the service charge to have someone come out and fix is about $200. So at that point it is not worth it to fix and just replace with a different brand. Last time I will ever buy a LG appliance.

    3 loads and then a failure

    The washer was used 3 times before a 90+db grinding noise started during agitation. It sounded like an impact drill was stripping a bolt. We have video of that including the sound. Fortunately, this happened within 2 days of delivery by geek squad, and after playing them the sounds over the phone, they arranged for a replacement. The geek squad process took about 45 min which was great. I will update this once the new machine arrived and we have time to use it.

    Due to the closure of our regional store (Marquette) and being located outside the Green Bay delivery/installation area (we are in northeastern WI), our new washer and dryer are sitting in our outside porch until our out of state son can visit and help move them to the basement. :( I am 66 and my husband is 70. We offered to pay any additional for delivery/installation, but they were unable to do that.
