Wonderful machine. It’s quiet, it cleans well, and is gentle on fabrics. I was also delighted with the large capacity.

This washer has the features I was looking for. At the time of purchase ( during Covid) it was in stock and readily available. Cleans clothes well. The only thing I feel would have been better was how hot the hot/ warm water controls. I would have preferred warmer/ hotter water.

Much better than our previous Amana set. Clothes are cleaner and smell better. Only 1 gripe, it disconnects itself from Wifi every week or 2 so we stop getting notifications on our phones. The dryer does not have this issue, however is 1 model lower than this washer is (no steeeaaaam function). Not a big deal, but since i paid for the technology itd be nice if it always worked.

We have had this washing machine for about a week. This is the best washing machine we have ever owned. This replaced a Maytag Bravos HE washing machine and what a difference. This uses much less water, is 10 times quieter and is done in a fraction of the time. Professional installation was definitely worth the extra money. Two days after I purchased it the machine went on sale so Best Buy refunded the difference.

So far the machine has been pretty good but as with all LG and Samsung appliances, we know we are taking risks based on their recalls and ice maker scandals. The worst part of the machine is the constant UE messages when blankets spin unevenly. It restarts the whole cycle over. The LG Thinq app features are disappointing. You can't start the washer or dryer remotely. You can only download cycles and set timers.

It was fine the first couple of years. Lately it is uneven very regularly and needs to be watched for the last half hour or so to make sure it doesn't just keep refilling and draining repeatedly. The bottom of the drum comes unscrewed regularly, even when we use a ratchet wrench to secure it, it will come off again within 10 loads. Now today its not filling correctly. It can fill, it did it for a few seconds. But it won't fill quickly enough to actually get the laundry all wet then it begins the wash cycle while the top laundry is still dry. I'm about to take my clothes down to the crick with a washboard. That is starting to seem less tedious. We've had a few use errors like a aaa battery breaking the pump, and a screw getting stuck in the drum but that's from things going through that shouldn't have. The rest though, seems to just be an overly complicated programming that makes it almost useless.

Large capacity is great as is the speed wash (under 30 minutes). Very happy with this washer. My only minor complaint is that, at 5'4", I find it a bit difficult to reach in to the bottom of the tub.

This machine is a dream. You can not go wrong in purchasing it. Everything about it is top-notch. You will not be disappointed. And its easy to operate.

Its a pretty nice sleek washer. I prefer this over frontload as you dont have to bend for washing cloths.

This washer is really great in performance as expected. Will not have problems recommending it to anyone in need of a quality performance washer.

Just got this unit to replace my old LG top load washer. I was happy with the previous unit except that it began smelling like mildew and would not get clean despite using cleaners and running the tup clean cycle. So far, this new washer seems like it will be just fine with one exception: On my old unit, there was a button to select fabric softener. There is no fabric softener option on the new washer and I'm wondering why. Seems like it should be there.

Very good washer, never had a mold problem, or smell. The spinning part was pretty good, can't complaint. Left clothes super clean and did not damaged any fabric. Had to leave it behind in my old house because we sold the house faster by negociating the washer.

I love my smart washing machine! Receiving notifications when the laundry is done has saved me from rewashing many loads.

This is and LG high capacity washing machine that has a steam option which is a very nice feature.

Purchased May 2020. We enjoyed it until April 2025, when the gear case and rotor assembly broke. Parts $686 plus labor to replace $345 equals more than we paid for it. Disappointing that it didnt even last 5 years, and now has to be replaced.

I love my new LG washer! I replaced my older LG and this one really out performs it. I like that it has an extra water setting. My clothes come out clean and it washes like a dream.

I got this machine and for every day laundry I loved it I felt like it was really getting things clean. However, I just had a big messy job after my son got sick and vomited on his comforter. It is a queen size comforter I put it in the washing machine alone after removing the chunks (sorry, TMI!) and scrubbing out what I could. I washed it twice on the bedding setting with hot water and high soil level, in between washes I took the comforter out and rearranged it so that hopefully all parts would get washed really thoroughly. After the second wash I took it out and was disappointed to see that there remained stains as well as even some actual vomit that was within the stitching on the edges. I really thought that it would do better. After the first wash the very center of the blanket was completely dry and didn’t even get water on it. I’m extremely disappointed that after spending $1100 on this machine my old $200 machine did better :-/ I wanted to love this machine the ease of it is great the look of it is great I just don’t feel like it cleans clothes very well…Certainly does not do a good job on comforters.
