Customers value the 50" Class 80 Series QNED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV for its exceptional picture quality, ease of use, and vibrant colors. Many appreciate the television's performance for gaming and its reasonable price point. However, some users find the remote control and viewing angles to be less than ideal. Overall, the positive feedback on picture quality and ease of use outweighs the negative comments regarding the remote and viewing angles.

Had this TV for 1 year and 6 months and now it died on me. Turns on with black screen and lines sporatically when trying to get into TV menu.

The corner of the screen is glowing. The picture quality elsewhere is beyond expectations but the corner is ruining the whole experience.

Got black lines from top to bottom after a year. Only used for gaming. During the last week, went from one small line to multiple thin lines and today, a nice thick line.

I don’t usually write reviews but I have to for this TV. LG has Quality products that last. I have had a 43 inch LG tv that has last 3 years now and still works good. This 50 inch tv was a upgrade for my PS5 and it’s impressive. After a disappointing Sony x90j and other brands that just couldn’t stack up to my personal preference this is the tv for next gen consoles. Ofcourse this is just my opinion but this is the best budget friendly tv you can get that has good performance and picture quality unless you go with the high end expensive OLED tv route. The settings that work for me is leaving the local dimming and picture color adjust to medium and HDR mode in HGIG in game optimizer. Play around the settings and you will find what settings suit you. Sound quality is good but don’t expect Bass. If you want a budget tv for your next gen consoles that plays 4K 120hz and has good quality than you won’t be disappointed with this tv and apps like Netflix run smooth with smooth HDR.

Our Samsung tv broke after 2 1/2 years.. so we were on a hunt to find a new one. We thought of not staying with Samsung. Best Buy rep asked us what we need and tv and he recommended this one over Samsung q60b. We love it, color is vivid. Picture is clear. Sound is ok but better with a sound bar. We found one open box excellent condition. Came home remote was missing. Went back to the store where we got it and they gave us 2 lg universal remotes.. we’re fine with that as long as it’s working. Great tv with 120hz! Movement and colors are a lot better than our old Samsung tv. We did look at oleds but it was out of our budget. So this was perfect for our living room.

i absolutely love the picture quality of this tv. it's no QLED but you also don't have to break the bank to buy it. The only somewhat negative thing about it is the UI. i had a samsung before which has a much neater, more straightforward menu. This can be a bit difficult to get used to but that's a matter of preference. Bestbuy matched their price reduction a week after i bought this TV which is always appreciated.

I've had this for about 6 months and I can honestly say that for the money it is absolutely fantastic. Picture quality is amazing. The 120hz display is perfect for gaming. It feels of good quality. I just have one issue with it. And it can be fixed with a software update. It has a feature where you can wave the remote around almost like on the Wii systems back in the day and it moves a cursor around to select things. I do not like this feature. It feels clumsy and I'd rather just use the arrows. Which I can. But it defaults to the Wii type control and you have to hit the arrows to kick it off and it kicks itself back on. I'd like an option to turn this feature off completely. Other than that I love it though. It has been great.

New TV-Different Remote

We bought this TV to replace a 12-13 year old LG. The picture is good as is the sound. The controls are very different from our old TV. The biggest difference is the lack of an input button on the remote. You have to go to the Home screen and scroll down to change inputs, which I think is an inconvenience. Since it is a Web TV, it comes with over 200 IP stations which I have not really investigated. It has 4 HDMI ports, a port for an antennae, several USB ports, and a port for a sound bar. If I were to shop for a TV again, I would ask to use the remote and check out exactly how that worked before purchase. Overall, it is a very adequate TV for our needs.

I just bought this and the image quality is very good once you play with the settings. I played games on both my PS5 and Xbox Series X and the difference was amazing. Watching movies on this looks great and it really excels at that. It isn't as good as the OLED but it looks very good and it was a decent option to get a 120hz refresh rate.

Bought this TV for my mom for mother's day and it was the perfect upgrade for her in terms of picture quality at the price point. Colors pop and crisp picture all look good. My only gripes are the cursor remote can be annoying, it's like a motion activated remote and the cursor can cause the playbar to show when watching HBO for example. Also i like the WebOS but make sure it has all your apps

I had been looking for a new TV for a few months, for around $500, and noticed this one on sell for just a bit more. Most televisions i compared online in this price range were fairly basic and cheaper brands. I would not call this tv basic at all with a 120hz refresh rate and beautiful HDR. Movies and games both look and sound amazing. A cool feature i discovered is that the "magic" remote can control basic functions on your Xbox. Upgrading from a 2011 Magnavox really makes this tv seem magic.

My favorite part of this TV set is the fact that it is 120hz, Because I watch a lot of sports, particular track and field, and football(soccer for America). Also usually the audio on tv sets are so lame, but I find the audio was pretty decent and I utilized the AI audio feature which gives it so punch. Sure I could have gotten a 50' tv set for less but it was worth it. Plus not many 50'TVs out there is 120hz. and the picture is great in UHD

Playstation 5 hooked up to it as well and everything looks amazing and runs smooth you can definitely tell thats its 120hz.
Only thing and it might just be my tv, but it loses contection to the wifi often when im watching movies and tv through streaming services. Not everyday but maybe twice a week
But other than that the tv is perfect!

Purchased this TV in Feb 2023 at the local Best Buy in The Woodlands. The salesman recommended this TV or Sony based on the refresh rate and picture quality, and the LG was cheaper in price. After watching it for 6 months, we've been happy with the purchase and the picture and sound are great since we don't have it hooked up to a surround sound system.
