Great picture for the money! Vibrant! Easy setup!!

Excellent value for the price. Great picture and features.

Better picture than many, much more expensive 50" brands. Sound was better than most others and I haven't found that a sound bar is needed. The only weak point is the snap in plastic legs. For my top of corner cabinet, I ended up buying a cabinet top, platform mount that is much more stable.

I recently purchased a new 40” LG SMART TV. As this was my first SMART TV, I spent considerable time researching and reading reviews on different brands. I was back at the store several times to ask many questions. I always found the sales people very patient and extremely knowledgeable. So far I am very happy with my new TV.

Picture is good, no issues so far, magic remote is awesome.

The magic remote make using all the features so easy. The ability to browse the web (webOS) is greatly enhanced by able to point and click with the magic remote, instead of trying to chase characters or a pointer around the screen with arrow key (like I have to do with my other brand x tv)

After having a Sony Brava for 13 years it was time to purchase a new tv, but it seemed so daunting to me. The gentleman who helped me purchase this was so helpful, he understood that it was an overwhelming task. This TV is easy to use and has a wonderful picture.

We purchased this tv for the bedroom. Unfortunately, we found it to be too big for this particular room. It would have been a better viewing experience if we could have been just slightly farther away from the screen. We were impressed with the sound. Loud and clear enough on its own with no sound bar. However, we would have preferred a sharper picture image. We returned it as we will be getting one with a smaller screen.

I went in to buy a Samsung 50 inch tv but was told that the lg was better. It cost a little more money but I listened to the salesman and decided to spend a little more. I have had it for a while now and am glad that I listened. The picture is beautiful and the sound is so much better. Thank you very much for your information.

Set up was easy, the picture is great, and the streaming apps work nicely (though there is no HBO app, so we have to switch to the Roku for that). The remote has been a bit glitchy, and there is a bit of a learning curve to figure out where everything is, but we are waiting for a new one to arrive to see if we just got a dud or if there is some other issue. The ability to use voice commands has been kind of fun.

this tv has absolutely met expectations perfect size for a bedroom tv (which is what i bought it for) this is the 3rd LG i have bought, the picture quality is only exceeded by my sony x950 that cost significantly more great value, if you watch mostly football basketball, i would get a 120hz native refresh rate
