Cannot airplay or cast to the tv. If I somehow get it connected it will definitely disconnect itself. Most apps can’t even be downloaded on this tv.

I’ll never buy another open box item from bestbuy. Best Buy is acting like I got this item for free that’s why there was no remote nor legs for tv.

This tv's picture and sound quality surpass its price point. I would say that I am well versed in tech especially Tv's. I know all about the advertised technology with all the manufacturers. What really matters, is how well that units processor and smooth out and display images. For this price point, I would highly reccomend this TV. I purchased a 50 inch Vizio V-series (DONT DO IT) and returned it very quickly. The LG has a little bit of a darker picture but it also has a blue light filter option which is amazing. Unlike other TV's in this price point with the exception of the Samsung 7 series and the TCL 5 series (both were very close, It will come down to personla preference between the LG7300, SAMSUNG RU7100, or TCL SERIES ). I decided to go with the LG. It was slightly faster in image processing, the color gamut was more to my liking, and it had more options to adjust picture settings. Also the magic remote is fantastic as it can be used as a wireless mouse or regular remote. NOTE** The video being displayed at Best buy is coming through via COAX cable that is split between 12 or more different sources and not through HDMI. Bring your Blu-ray player with you and hook it up to a tv to see. Coax can display high outputs but I would recommend bringing some type of 4k source so that you see exactly what you are getting when you get home so that you can save yourself the trouble of returning a tv that you aren't happy with. All in all...this tv is amazing.

I'm an old-timer not technologically inclined. I had difficulty with startup as I'm sure many do. The TV has a fantastic picture much superior to my six-year-old Sony. However I do not like the remote which does not control my cable set-top box and DVD/sound system meaning I will now have to buy a universal remote. I am disappointed to have this additional expenditure.

Good but not for Sports Cord Cutters

Good entry level 4K Smart TV but can be a lot better. First, the DTV antenna does not pick up any local digital channels, so you'll need a separate DTV antenna. Second, you cannot download the ESPN app or ESPN+. You'll need a Roku, Chromecast or Fire TV device which defeats the purpose of a Smart TV. So you cannot watch any sports on ABC, CBS, NBC or ESPN without additional equipment, so better off going with a different Smart TV. If you just want to stream other services like Netflix, Hulu, Disney+ or Prime Video then its a good TV and easy to use.

    Avoid this tv

First one was dead in the box. Had to take it back, and Best Buy exchanged for the same unit. However, like some of the other reviews of this product, the only acceptable picture is directly in front. If you move to the side, the picture gets washed out - almost milky. Do not buy if you plan to watch sports. The refresh rate is very slow (60hz). Watching football is comical as the line of scrimmage becomes a blur when the ball is snapped. Your only hope of watching the play is if the show a slow motion replay. The lack of individual brightness, contrast and color level controls limit the amount of compensation you can make. Because the field of view is so narrow, any change you do make (by selecting one of the default viewing modes) only heightens the poor quality off to the side. I bought this brand because my previous tv from one of the other top brands had durability issues with some of their components. Now, I fear I bought a durable unit, but am going to have to settle for poor picture quality.

Many times picture quality troubles can be resolved with a few tweaks to the settings.
