This TV rocks! Not only was the price great, but the picture is vivid the smart apps fast, and weight is light. The passive 3D work very well also. With all the features you get with this TV you can't beat the price. In fact I also own 2 65" versions of this same TV.

TV has great picture and sound, 3D is OK, but it might be because I am using an earlier version of 3D Blu Ray player (2010 Sony), so I am hopeful once I take the leap to a 4K player it will improve. Otherwise I am happy with my purchase, especially with the deal I got on the showroom display they were getting rid of to make room for the 2017 models.

I was trying to decide between this TV and the Samsung and Sony equivalents. In the end, the 3D option made the difference. The picture quality is fantastic, but you have to see which picture mode looks best for you.

Great picture quality but blacks could be deeper. Handsome styling. Prefer this to other Samsung TVs I have. Love the smart TV on-screen menu and pointer features and streaming capability.

Good for a Bright Room and Wide Seating

I would only recommend this tv for a bright room and in an area that would require a wide viewing angle. Being an IPS panel, it gives great viewing angles off center (the best other than OLED). The dark scenes are not good since the black levels are barely passable (if dark blacks are a priority, stick with a VA panel). The smart features work really well, as well as the magic remote (the remote acts as a pointer on screen which is very intuitive and makes things work much faster for typing and clicking). I use this tv in a bright home gym where a wide viewing area is needed so it fits the bill nicely. Otherwise, if you view your tv straight on and/or in a dark room, there are better options (Vizio P Series or Samsungs 8000 series or higher).

Shopping for a new TV these days is a tough deal. So many new products out in the market every year and you always gotta try to stay away from the gimmicks. I was originally aiming for a Samsung tv, but when I learned the LG seems to be the only brand currently carrying the Dobly HDR standard (which is also compatible with the HDR10 standard) I decided to go LG. This is a great product but there is a little detail that really bugs me! When you have a black or dark screen on, whatever white or bright images that pops on will light up an entire section of the screen (it seems to be divided in three vertical sections). I was told the reason for that is because it is not OMLED thus not having a true black image as they say. Whatever it is, it's annoying.

This a great TV for people who need clarity and size to view the a TV better. Very clear and sharp. Great colors. Easy to see from an angle. Pricey but it was what was needed for my husbands vision issues

I bought this tv to replace my 50in Vizio 3D HD. The picture looks great and converts to 3D as well if not and also in reverse. Like the auto upscale to 4k.

Never thought I would say this but LG outbeats Samsung. The picture quality is amazing, the operating system is super easy to navigate, the 3D looks phenomenal and the price is reasonable. Love everything about this TV!

We recently had to purchase a new tv and decided to upgrade to a larger one. We went with a 55" LG TV - LED - 2160p - Smart - 3D - 4K Ultra HD TV with High Dynamic Range - Silver. While the TV looked amazing in the store we cannot seem to get the color and picture to do the same. Maybe we are technically challenged but it would be nice to a user guide that was easy to follow. The sound bar we bought with it is nice but now we have to use 3 remotes and that sucks! One day we hope to get it all synced and the picture quality to the same standard as the one in the store. Until then .... it is ok.

I read all the reviews before purchasing this TV. It has great picture clarity and color. My husband has some vision impairments and this visual element has helped a lot. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is two things: 1. It is very expensive at $1200 but we didn't have much choice due to his impairments. 2. I don't like the stand it came with. The TV sits in an entertainment center and with the "boomerang" shaped stand you can't pull it forward enough. We will probably never use the 3D feature that adds to the price but it is standard on this model. No choice to not have it.

I bought this TV because I am one of the people who really have wanted a 3D TV. The 3D image is amazing on blurays and even the 3D button right on the remote turns ALL shows into 3D shows. The color is really great too. The only thing I have noticed on the 4K TV though is it seems that regular cable broadcasts in high def are not as clear as on my smaller 1080 TV. I really love the fact that the remote has a 3D button right on it. Some TVs make you go into the settings and change the TV to 3D mode to watch similulated 3D. I am really enjoying this unit.

This TV is an excellent TV, but my first one actually came defective, so I feel obligated to leave this review! We bought this TV because we wanted to upgrade to 4K but mainly wanted the 3D. We couldn't wait to get it home and set up, just to find out there was horrible ghosting issues on the top 3 inches and the bottom 3 inches of the screen. I tried everything to fix it, but after hours I knew it was out of my hands. We returned the TV and the new one does work pretty good though! I still recommend this product even with our issue!

I just purchased this TV four days ago and I generally like the features, which is why I purchased it. The only issue I have with it is that there appears to be dark stripes which are very visible when viewing a video that pans across a sky or really any area that consists of a large single color with little detail. In more detailed scenes they are not bothersome. It's like looking through a grid, when watching a video; especially one that pans across a sky. I'm considering returning the set because of it.

I am thrilled with the clarity, color contrast, and features of this t.v. My home has an entire wall of large windows and I have always had difficulty being able to see dark scenes in the middle of the day. The colors on this t.v. are so vivid, and the black hues so dark, that even with the sun streaming in the picture is beautifully clear. I also purchased the LG seven speaker sound bar and the sound quality of this duo is incredible. I couldn't be happier with my purchases
