I bought this on sale and I'm very happy with the picture. I also purchased the LG sound bar 2.0 which sounds great. Very happy with the purchase.

I have the 60" Samsung 2K. The remote and usage of the Smart tv functions work much better on that tv. I put this in our theater area since the 4K should be better. I can't get to the weather.com site on this. You try to enter in a postal code and it takes the 1st number and submits immediately. It won't let you key in all numbers. Tried to watch the Internet news and it reloads about every 30 sec so you never get more than one sentence from them. This is expensive for a Netflix only tv. Useless Smart tv.

The remote is awful, you need to aim exactly to the middle lower edge, one inch far from it and it will not work. Smart tv, every time I choose amazon, netflix , you tube etc it prompt me to check the network. How, ?why? Don't dare to fast forward or rewind a video in you tube, it will never get to play again, it will load for ever.

    LG 4K Smart TV

I've had LG tv back in the 90's and never had problems. LG and Samsung are of the same quality as both based in South Korea without the overpriced Samsung has. For 499 dollars no brand can beat that for the quality LG has.

I bought this tv at registered price and the picture quality is ok. My earlier sharp tv had better picture and sound quality. Without sound bar and 5.1 channel this tv is useless. The audio quality is poor. Last but not the least, the remote freezes a lot of time and since manual control buttons are missing, it can be a pain in the neck. They have put all manual control buttons in a single lever which requires you to move up, down, left, right but it hardly gets the job done. So overall it just doesn't deserve recommendation..

Do Not Buy This For Gaming

I'll start this off by saying I'm an electronics repair technician of 16 years, so I know what I'm talking about. I bought this TV on black Friday and got it home to set up with my custom built gaming rig only to realize that the input lag on this TV is horrendous, even in game mode. There are two petitions for the 2016 line of LG TV's including their OLED and LCD 4k TV's because of this issue. The TV works great for everything else but it is simply useless to game on. I was getting over 100ms of input lag on any game. Even on the desktop. Best buy is exchanging this for the Samsung KU6300 with far less input lag, according to several sites. LG treated me like I had no clue what I was talking about when I called them about this and gave me zero answers. Last time I buy an LG device.

    Broken within hours of unboxing

I bought this tv early this afternoon and got it all set up. It's a beautiful set. Looked great. For 4k the resolution wasn't excellent but for $499 I was ok with it. I was playing around with settings and clicked a button with the remote to change the picture color depth and the tv had to restart. When it restarted it completely froze the tv and the only thing that worked was the tv would turn on black. I called LG and they said it must be a problem with the software. Luckily I live closer and went back to Best Buy and bought a Vizio instead.
