    Wonderful OLED TV

This is the nicest television I have ever purchased. The OLED technology makes the image really "pop" with a near-perfect black. One thing, the picture mode was originally set in the power saving mode, which makes the image look dull. It's easy to change, but you really should be done. (I recommend (ISF Expert). That being said, I highly recommend calibrating your television. The ISF Expert mode is calibrated pretty close to "reality." However, on my television the white balance was too warm (which made everything look a little red). To calibrate your TV, you just need a calibration BluRay and mess with some of the video settings (If you don't like you what you've done you won't break your TV you can just reset it.) There are three great calibration BluRays out there. CNET has a great article on it here: http://www.cnet.com/how-to/reviewed-blu-ray-setup-discs-for-your-hdtv/

Not good for Directv / Cable

98% of my TV show watching is on cable/satellite, not on online streaming. My TV shows on travel channel, espn, HBO, are blurry on this 4k. I put it side by side with my 5 year old 1080p and the 1080p wins by a huge margin. I found out after I bought this 4k, that most TV shows and sports are 720p and when upscaled to 4k, the conversion makes it worse. I'm not sure if these TV shows plans to show it on 4k in the future. I doubt it. And directv told me that they do not support this model where they have some 4k content. Their website lists out the brands they support. I might have to return this to get a new 1080p OLED instead.

Obviously expensive, but the picture quality is spectacular. If you have the money, it's a great tv to buy.

will NOT allow a full motion TV mount

I really wanted the OLED / 4K/ HDR 55EF. LG will only allow their proprietary wall mount (minimal swivel capability) to be used due to the offset mounting holes. Their is no accessory to accommodate an articulated arm mount to enable "full motion". This TV is designed to only mount on a flat wall and will not swivel more than 10 degrees. There is no indication anywhere otherwise that this limitation is "in stone" and no accessories are available to accommodate. I sent it back until technology catches up !

I bought one of these tvs in Nov. and I was some what satisfied. Until Feb. when the tv glitched and stopped working all together. I read reviews and watched videos of this happening to people. Well let me tell you, these tvs are junk, pure junk. If your wise u will not buy. I've bought a lot of tvs and never had any issues, this is by far the most expensive and biggest regret tech wise I have every made.

Not as bright as my old Hd Tv.

Beautiful picture watching Netflix 4k shows. But most of my watching is regular cable and the picture is a lot darker than my old tv. I spent hours messing around in the settings, and I was not happy. After doing more research I found that one of the only draw backs of this oledtv is that brightness is very low. I went with..Sony - XBR X930D Series 55" Class (54.6” diag) - LED - 2160p - Smart - 3D - 4K Ultra HD TV - Black Model: XBR55X930D instead,
