need to know - great image with a cheap controller that if breaks you can't use the t.v. a definitive draw back to a beautiful screen

It's a good tv but careful not to leave it on as the picture will burn into the screen

I really like the tv a lot better resolution than my Vizio tv that I own

I purchased open box. I don't recommend buying tvs open box. This TV had a burned in effect due to TV staying in demo mode for hrs.

I have had this television for about a month now. At first, we had a few problems. The biggest problem was the black bars at the top and bottom of the screen would change gray during dark scenes. This REALLY bothered me. We have since calibrated the TV using the Disney WOW bluray and it fixed the problem. This tv has the best picture quality of any tv I've ever seen. The "judder" issue has been fixed by requires a firmware update via USB. If you are in the market for the future, buy this tv. I promise you won't be disappointed.

We’ve had this TV for a couple of months now and it’s the best ever. It replaced another high end set, Pioneer 111FD, but the LG’s picture quality is above and beyond. Of the available picture modes, “Expert” seemed to have the best color/contrast presets. I bought the HD Benchmark disc to further fine-tune those parameters and what we have now is an edge-to-edge drop-dead gorgeous image. The curved screen feels very natural to the eye. Watching it for two months makes flat screens look weird. The 4K up-converter works miracles when watching Blu Ray movies. I look forward to 4K players being sold in stores. Yes, I would recommend this TV.

Not the TV the newer models are - it's beautiful to look at but the picture leaves a bit to be desired

The TV is awesome! Years ago heard about these black levels as a metric and didn't give it much thought, when this TV shows real black it's like the TV is off, as this is a claim to fame for OLED. A lot of advanced options for the video. 3 HDMIs on the left side so bought some elbow connectors. Not sure if optical out passes every format, and heard about HDR only for streaming so maybe a firmware update someday? I hate to say how the stand is important but I love the stand. Replaced an 8 year old Panasonic plasma. Great color and depth and clarity in all levels of light.
