After considerable research and time reading reviews, consumer reports, and CNET, I chose to purchase the LG EF9500. I am still getting used to some of the controls that could be pilot error (me) and not the TV when turning the TV off or changing channels from the Cox remote I have some problems. The jury is out on that. Using cox cable which is 1080i the TV picture is the clearest I have seen. The colors are natural but not as popping using the 4K demo video that is programmed into the TV. The sound through my 20 year old Marrantz receiver is much better than through my previous samsung tv which I replaced. I also purchased the audio quest hdmi cable which also may have made a difference in the quality of the sound. I am also satisfied with the sound quality from the TV itself. Overall, I am very pleased and satisfied with the TV set.

The picture crispness of the display and overall functionality is everything I could have imagined. I'm a 50 something male that doesn't read instructions so the simplicity of the 2.0 operating system is a perfect match for this die-hard gamer. Pairing it with the Definitive Technology Studio Micro with wireless sub-woofer makes my investment an immersive and extremely enjoyable one. Hypothalamus, say hello to my new friends!!!!

when watching this tv and another 3d tv, all of our eyes burned. we didn't use the 3d even once, but something with the back light messed with our eyes.

Perfect picture, bright colors and deep blacks. All that I need for a tv.

This TV is absolutely amazing, the contrast is the absolute best I have ever seen. The details are sharp and pop off the screen and colors are natural and photo like. About the only con, can't install Kodi on it or haven't been able to. Totally worth the money.

We recently purchased this TV and I'm amazed at how much better even 1080p HD looks through our cable provider, I didn't realize how much I was missing. We watched a movie we recorded off HBO and turned on the 3D feature and it looked great!! I'm so impressed with this TV already and we haven't even really watched 4K on it yet. Definitely worth The extra money!!

I could have purchased a much larger LED for what I paid for OLED. I struggled a bit deciding but took the plunge and got OLED 55". I have never experienced such a realistic picture (especially skin tones). the 3D features work on any channel although not as good as a 3D feature program but still works! The operating software and remote is insanely smart and impressive. TV speakers are the best I've seen built in.

I have the Samsung 4K. This tv surpasses all . The Color is spectacular.

1st Unit broken out of box. 2nd Unit has vertical white line ~3 inches from left side - the line is intermitted so it is frustrating. Other than those two issues the picture is as good as the 5 stars provided by other reviewers. I say no to the recommendation but if the unit will operate normally I will upgrade my recommendation to a friend to yes. ..

Hi, I bought it 5 days ago, was very happy till today. Today I just played Cricket on watch espn via roku, and guess what, I was traumatized with the Judder / shaky effect of this tv. Cricket ball running in field appears like oscillating, looks like 3 balls with prominent ball in middle. That really sucks. I tried to fix with oled light to 50, dejudder to 0 and deblurr to 10, resolved 80% of issue. LG / BEST BUY plz help, else I feel like returning it.

You can't beat the LG experience in their OLED 4K OLED. It far surpasses other models and manufacturers.

Just bought my LG OLED TV on Tuesday. On Saturday it quit working. Blank screen with error message POWER ONLY (04.20.75.01). And of course it's the weekend so LG is not available to help. And no one at BB had ever seen this error message before. Now I have to go through the hassle of unhooking and loading back into the car and taking back to the store. Loved it while it worked, but not sure I will get the same replacement or get a different brand. I've been unhappy with LG products in the past, so we'll see . . .
