You have to be a bit tech savy to match it up with surround sound system. Screen clarity is very nice, the sound is a bit weak, but with the surround sound, it makes up for it. Setup was terribly difficult and the remote control was nearly worthless in setting it up. Instructions are non existent. The remote is totally worthless, it has no MUTE button and using it for setup and programming was extremely difficult. For the cost of the TV it is quite disgusting that the remote is so poor. LG response to similar reviews are patronizing bull+++t
