The OLED's color and definition is amazing. Second to none!!! However, my biggest gripes are with the quality of LG. I went with LG because at the time there wasnt many available options for OLED's especially right before covid. Also choose LG because LG supposedly owns the patent on OLED panels. Main disappointments 1) has permanent burn in of oval shape in the middle of the screen from the factory due to the quality of the panels and the way they are constructed. It is a known LG problem. Can really only be seen on solid color screens like gray, navy blue are the worst. Only solution is to have LG replace your tv but all LG OLED's have this problem to a degree. 2) picture quality as it moves over corrugated surfaces is horrible. Get nasty image artifacts. Doesnt matter resolution or platform. 3) very limited apps Other than that decent TV. Best thing about the GX is the sound. It has AI sound that triangulates the best sound for the room its in. Would i buy again? Depends whats available but would do my best to stay away from LG TVs. Had my panasonic plasma for 10 years and nothing ever came close to the quality of textures on it. Pretty sad when a 1080p tv has better textures then any 4k tv on the market. Had to replace it because it had so many pixels dieing on the screen.
