Disappointed

I noticed the television turn off on its own but it only happened two times. I thought that perhaps I sat on the remote or something. The sound would fade every now and then but I thought it could have been a problem with the satellite, so I dismissed it because it came back in. Now on Super Bowl Sunday, the television cut off several times. Now it will not stay on at all. I am extremely disappointed as I am having a party and no television in my living room from which to view the game. I purchased this television due to its overall high ratings. I am now two months into my purchase and I have no 4K television. LG has to do better! I will be returning to Best Buy Monday morning.

Not very good

Steer clear of LG

Everything from televisions to cars are built to be disposable in modern times. I remember still watching an early 60's model tv in the mid 80's. Now THAT is bang for your buck!

Lack of features

No Bluetooth ( If you want to connect to your Bluetooth enabled speaker or headset, you cannot this made me ughhh... 2. BEST BUY AND LG ARE NO GOOD

Very upset tv keep turning off no volume on remote

TV Quit First Day

Screen went black, but sound was still on. Went with LG because we have another LG (prior purchase in 2016) that has worked great with no issues. This one however was a lemon in the first few hours of use.

Screen Damage or bad pixel

Wifi drops !

The sound is great .

Lines through the screen

Great TV!

I wasn't looking for a 55 and I wasn't looking for a 4K. However, the price was great at a holiday sale -- about $100 more than what I planned to spend, so here we are. All I can say is: wow! I'm glad I spent the extra money. The picture quality is great on this. It is very crisp and clear. Set-up is easy on this, including streaming from a Win 10 laptop. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. This would be a particularly good choice for someone who has cut their cable or satellite service and exclusively streams their programming. While I still have my direct TV service, built-in apps exist for every streaming service out there. I have this hard-wired into my home network (it will also work on wi-fi) and streaming Netflix programs yields a very high quality result. As noted, you can wirelessly broadcast anything you want from a laptop to this, so you can watch YouTube (or any other) content on this TV as well or use it as a wireless laptop monitor, which is rather nice. This was a great buy at $499 and I highly recommend this TV.
