Great TV!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had bought a Samsung 55” TV first on Black Friday. After a few days of distaste for the new TV, I decided to bring it back for a different one. Best Buy customer service was excellent, swapped it out for the new LG 55” TV no problem, very attentive, very friendly and no hassle at all. The TV is great, the response time after hitting buttons on the remote are lightning fast. There’s no “preparing” time before opening an app after turning the TV on, contrary to the first choice. The image is crystal clear. Overall very happy with this TV.

Amazing 4k TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this TV on Saturday. (11/25/17). Caught it on sale for 499.99. Definitely the best looking TV in this price range. This is my first 4k TV and wow! The picture quality is out of this world. I was stuck between the Samsung 55in and the LG. Glad I went lg!

Great TV for the Price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picked up the LG 55UJ6200 on black friday to pair with my new Xbox One X and could not be more pleased. While this isn't an LG OLED TV, its picture quality is fantastic. The specifications says that the TV doesn't have HDR which it does. It does take some time to find it within the menu settings as it's tucked away, but once you enable it the Xbox recognizes it and displays the picture beautifully. I really do not believe you could get a better TV for the price ($499.99). The refresh rate (60hz) can get a bit weird watching animated TV like family guy, there's some blur that I notice, but my girlfriend does not. Doesn't really bother me, but you may notice it as well. If you have the Xbox One X this is a worthy TV to display 4k and HDR picture beautifully.

Great TV But Picture Died After 4 Years.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was a pretty good TV. Great picture, fantastic sound, and it was a great price. The only reason I am giving it 4/5 stars is that it died yesterday after 4 great years of service. I'm not mad. In fact, I'm heading back to Best Buy to get a replacement and it will just be the newer LG model.

TV overall is great, software settings need work
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really love this TV... now that I have it hooked to the internet. This review would be a 5-star review, but dinged it one star for inital usability. Internet connection in itself was a huge task, as it took hours of my time from searching multiple message boards with how to fix the issue before I found the right solution. It turns out you have to turn off the "Quick Start" setting. Aside from these initial technical issues to access the internet, I really enjoy using this TV, love the picture, and the sound quality. I've owned a Samsung for two years and it was okay, but the sound was terrible and required a sound bar. This one projects extremely well and prevented any need for a sound bar. Overall, I'm really glad I made this purchase, but LG please fix your connection issues that conflict with other settings.

This TV has Active HDR (UJ 6200 SERIES)
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This series has ACTIVE HDR 10 even though Best Buy is showing it does not have HDR for some reason when a month ago it showed yes under HDR. Anyways Netflix HDR content like Stranger Things and the Punisher look noticeably better than regular 4K content. This TV is great for gaming with the the lowest lag of almost every competitor, much faster than Samsungs for instance. One of the best entry level 4k TV's.

BUY SAMNSUNG TV OVER LG!!! BEST VALUE AROUND!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My son broke my old 47 inch samsung by throwing a toy car at the screen (yikes, I know!) Anyways, I used this as an opportunity to upgrade. So, I narrowed it down to three tvs, LG 6200, Samsung 6300, or Samsung 6100. I went into the store to check out all three. The LG was on sale for 469.99, 6300 for 499 and 6100 for 529. When I saw them in person, Best Buy had a slow 4k image on the LG that popped like none other!!! There was a black and white dog video playing on the Samsung. Only one of the Samsungs was available to see. The LG with the slow video was incredible so I bought it because it was cheaper too right? We all want to save a buck?! Or so I though and BIG MISTAKE! The brightness on the LG wasn't even close to the brightness and color pop on my old Samsung LED $300 tv. The blacks were not black and I thought motion looked really choppy when watching sports which is my main objective. YES, I FIDDLED WITH CALIBRATION AND SET IT TO EXPERT CALIBRATION from FORUMS ONLINE. I shut of trumotion as well. Now, I could tell the LG was a great clear image tv. It had incredible ability when 4k was shown. Not sure how so many people talk about how great of a picture it has though! I wanted some brightness and color in my life so had to take it back. SO GLAD I DID. I actually went into the store to buy the 6300(actually it was 6290) 55 inch because my wife told me no bigger than 55 inch and they were sold out. SO I GOT THE 3 extra inches and am so glad I did. This TV is an incredible TV! Sports look great, color is awesome, and blacks are actually black! IF YOU ARE ON A BUDGET OF around $500 like I was. THE SAMSUNG is worth going just a bit over. I don't think I am ever going to venture outside the Samsung family of Tvs again. Color pop simply can't be beat!

LG TV / sound bar
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far I’m very pleased with the TV, I can’t tell much difference between 4K & 1080 but my eyes aren’t quite as good as they used to be! I will say, it was surprisingly difficult to set up my LG TV with the LG Soundbar. I had to go into the setting on the TV & change several things to make it work. BUT now they are hooked up, they integrate very nicely. The picture is crisp, no blur whatsoever. For $469, you can’t beat it!

Great TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the tv only think that is keeping me from giving it 5 stars the TV seems a little dark and it doesn’t seem like I can make the screen brighter than the vivid setting. Does anyone else have issue with screen being to dark?

Failed after only 3 years
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This set had an above-average HD picture. However, 4K HDR images were dim and too dark to enjoy, so I turned off 4K at the source. Also advanced audio such as DTS and Dolby Atmos wasn’t handled well. But for 98% of my viewing, it performed well. UNTIL, that is, the set failed suddenly, displaying a black screen while playing sound. A modern set should last more than 3 years, so ultimately this Tv was disappointing.

Great picture
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We just bought this after returning our junky Insignia. Much better quality with the LG. The only con I would have to say is the app selection is not good at all. Buy ROKU if you buy this tv because if not, you're limited to just Hulu, Netflix, and a couple apps that you pay for each show episode.. Was disappointed with that aspect but the tv itself is nice quality.

Wears out after about 3 years.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So, we have had this TV for 4 years now. Just saw it in my purchase history and figured I'd give a long-term review for it. I need to replace it. For about a year and a half, a line has formed vertical down the screen. A white line. A very noticeable white line. Darker the movie, more obvious the line. Then the fact that the screen for the past 4 months goes dim for no reason. Turn it off then back on and its normal picture again. Another annoying factor is the LG content store. This TV might have done 5 or 6 updates in the first year. After that, nothing. No spectrum or Paramont TV apps in the store. Seems like LG only updates the apps and store on the newest TV and older ones don't get the support they need to keep up with the newer streaming services that come out.I have an older LG TV that is the same way. Had to resort to using Fire Sticks on both.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this TV almost years ago to the day.
