Burn in across the bottom twice! No more
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very disappointed in this tv. After about 16 months the screen had bad burn in on the bottom. Lg replaced the screen(not a great experience). Now I have the same burn in at the bottom of the screen after 16 months again. I have run the tool on the tv multiple times and it has not helped. I have a Samsung that I have had 1 year longer and it is still fine. I will not buy an over priced OLED tv again.

Make sure remote can control soundbar.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a great tv but I can't program the remote to control the BOSE soundbar, so I have to use the BOSe soundbar remote just to control the volume. VERY FRUSTRATING!

Very good picture in 4k
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is not the best picture for 1080p, and the remote doesn’t work with Google fiber.

Pixel Burn
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The tv is great but had some serious issues. Twice now, the pixels have burned out. Geek squad came to repair it one but then a couple of months later the pixels burned out again. Might just be my tv, but its still very frustrating.

dont buy geek squad warranty
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.bought 2017 lg oled 55 tv,got geek squad warranty. Part of the pixels started going out. So I called the geek squad to come and 1 week later they came out and said they would order a new screen and install it in 2 weeks. The morning they were supposed to come over, they informed me it had not come in. He then told me that if the order was longer than one month I would get my money for the tv and could spend it at Best Buy for a new tv. Its been 30 days and i have been on the phone for 2 hours and still haven't got anywhere. I talked to one lady and said they would call back. Still waiting. Dont

Died in under 18 months
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Expensive, and the screen died under 18 months. Had a 4 year protection plan, but when they replaced it, they negated the whole protection plan so I have to hope the new TV lasts longer

Fantastic for Gaming!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A few weeks ago, I purchased an LG C7 55" OLED and I could not be happier. I got it for $2200 from BB with a free SJ8 soundbar. I hung it on my bedroom wall over my desk where I use it for high-end PC and XB1 gaming. After 3 weeks of heavy use, ~8 hours/day, I've noticed ZERO burn-in and have not used the Pixel Refresher. Unlike every other TV I've owned, the out-of-the-box colors (i.e. fleshtones) were perfect without tweaking. Vibrant colors, pitch blacks, infinite contrast, uniform picture, no dead/stuck pixels, zero ghosting, an estimated 0.01 pixel response time with a very low 21ms input signal lag at 1080p/120Hz or 4K/60Hz make this ideal for gaming. If you get this TV, check out those Youtube 4K HDR videos... absolutely incredible picture! After seeing those HDR videos, I can't wait for the XB1X for true 4K HDR gaming. My only gripe is that the ABL can be annoying for PC users (not really an issue when gaming or viewing movies). For example, if I maximize a text or browser window, a few minutes later the Auto Brightness Limiter kicks in noticeably dimming the OLED in an effort to limit the power consumption to under 200W. Scroll the window or select some text, which reduces the average percentage of white on the screen, and the ABL turns off abruptly requiring your eyes a few seconds to readjust to the blinding backlight. From what I understand, without the ABL, a white screen at max brightness would consume over 500W. A necessary evil, I guess, but I wish I could disable it or set the delay time; maybe in a firmware update? Here's a great in depth review: http://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/lg/c7-oled

I would never buy again!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We installed the tv and many the connections needed to wire it with 4K only to find out that the remote did not work. Best Buy would not allow us to exchange the remote so we contacted the manufacturer and waited for a new one. During this time we paid for a downloaded app in order to try to use the tv. At least 1X a day the tv needs to be reset which requires unplugging it and so forth. Needless to say with the tv being installed and no longer having the base, Best Buy also won’t address this issue. Long story short, don’t waste your money unless you are looking for a very expensive paperweight.

Fails after only 3 months
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned this television for four months now. For the first three months everything was fine. Now at random the TV powers itself off. It turns out this is a common issue with this TV as there have been multiple complaints on several Internet forums regarding this issue. Customer service will walk you through resetting the TV. I did this multiple times only to have the same issue come back again and again. Avoid this TV!

Screen burn in is terrible
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you watch a few TV channels consistently that have somewhat static banners — like CNN or networks that keep their logos on the screen during the show — those images burn on the screen and stay there. I have done the pixel refresh many times.

Unbelievable
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I must say this is the most exceptional TV I've ever seen. It appears as if you're looking through a window while watching. The colors are extremely vivid and as with all oled TVs the blacks are second to none. I was undecided between the C and E, and after seeing that both models are exactly the same I decided on the C and got the new LG SJ9 sound bar. This option ended up being more cost efficient than going with the E model. The two paired together are remarkable.

Awful TV
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Almost immediately noticed that picture was terrible and it was set up correctly by BestBuy Geek. Then, a 10 inch green stripe was immediately burned into the picture at the base, It read FOX News. I’ll never buy an OLED tv, again.
