My stupid mid level Samsung tv died after 3 years (don’t ever buy a Samsung as multiple family members have had issues with the company from tv’s to cell phones to refrigerators.... the Kmart of tech!!!!). This tv is the best I have ever owned. Period. To say it has changed my life would be a stretch, but I want to say it actually has because it is sooooo beautiful.

The ease of use and a great picture especially watching 4K movies.

OLED is the way to go. Best TV I've owned. Good color great blacks.

I already owned the 65" version of this TV. Although I had a 4K Smart TV, I couldn't stand to look at it anymore after purchasing the 65" LG OLED TV. So I purchased the 55" TV to replace my current TV. The picture is amazing. It is especially noticeable when watching sports. You really feel as if you are there and part of the action. I highly recommend this TV.

The OLED TV is by far the best picture quality I've seen. However, LG operating system is buggy and not compatible with most anything else. I am unable to cast from my computer's, phones, etc. without a special LG app (not made by LG)...which has proven to be unreliable. I finally broke down a bought a Google Chromecast device to plug into one of my HDMI ports. For my money in the future, I will stick with Visio. They just work and have never had trouble. This one is not worth the money.

Very happy with the stunning picture of our new LG OLED 55" TV with LG Soundbar and top of the line controller. The installation by the Geek Squad guy was perfect with full explanation. We also upgraded our Wi-Fi with an eero router, providing a strong signal in all parts of our house.

I went in to buy a $600 4K TV and walked out with this beauty. No regrets! The picture quality is superb and the smart features are outstanding. As with any TV nowadays, the speakers leave a little to be desired, but if you don’t have a sound bar by now you probably don’t care about picture quality enough to make the jump to this tv.

beautiful picture quality,every color shown on this tv pops and is so crisp with no blurring or bleeding and I disagree with people saying it's not bright. this tv can get very bright as well as pitch black. if you can afford it grab it, I game a lot and this tv has a great game mode.

Should I recently broke my Samsung QOLED TV which cost about half as much is this one. I didn’t think you could get much better than that but man, this thing is niiiiceee. Blacks are real blacker tha. I thought possible. The colors are beyond phenomenal. Yes it's.expensive, but you don't need to be looking for.oled to save mlney. Glad I got it!

I actually went into Best Buy with the intention of buying a Vizio that was in sale. Fortunately for me, the LG OLED tvs were next to the Vizio. Let me say, once you buy an OLED TV, nothing will ever compare. I love my TV and recommend it to all of my friends and family.

Just thought this review might help someone else, bought C series LG oled, less thank 2yrs later tv broke, my fault I didn’t purchase extended warranty, however, didn’t expect a $2500 tv at the time to break so soon. Anyways, LG wouldn’t help me so I took it to repair guy, he had me come into the shop to show me that the PARTS in the tv were REFURBISHED/USED, I bought the tv new in box, crazy right!!!, for what’s it worth picture is solid not so sure about the input lag for gaming ran a bit slow, good luck for those who purchase this tv read the reviews these tv don’t last long.

So I've been waiting for this television to go on sale forever well pretty much since it came out. it finally did and it was $1100 off of the asking price. I couldn't ask for a better deal so I jumped on it as soon as possible. Well worth the wait the picture quality is absolutely amazing. I would recommend the television to anyone.

Beautiful, full, vibrant colors. Excellent sound for a tv

At first I was skeptical of getting in LG and not a Sony but after my purchase the Best Buy associate explained to me that LG was just as good as Sony and I agree. The picture is amazing and the portraite mode is pretty cool.

Excellent but not as good as plasma. With any normal signal plasma looks and moves better. Brighter than plasma. Better picture with 4K sources.

Crisp clean picture, blackest black and eye-popping colors.

It does everything they say it is supposed to do. I do think there is still a touch of glare with all of these new surface OLED C8 Smart TV's regardless of the brand. I had a 13 year old Philips, 50" Plasma TV with Ambilight. There was never an ounce of glare on that TV and the picture quality was stunning. This new 55" LG I got looks smaller, so I rather regret not getting at least a 65" model. The picture is comparable to my Philips plasma - but not better. The only reason I'm not rating if 5 (in addition to my comments -- is I am not "thrilled." Miss my plasma.

Picture is fantastic and the remote is easy to use.

I was sceptical about Oleds, however this looked like a good deal and oh my it is amazing. The web os is the best smart tv system I have used. The pointer makes typing in passwords quick. It can voice search on YouTube. The colours are the best I have ever seen. A perfect bedroom tv.
