The reviews I read said this is the best tv on the market. The picture is stunning, but I wish I went with Samsung. My brother has a samsung. We are both gamers and I like the picture better playing on his tv.

Truly excellent. Motion handling not quite what I had hoped, but everything else is extraordinary. Football motion is excellent. Some other shows not as good as hoped, but as I said excellent tv.

I searched online for a long time to find a good tv and this one is all that and then some.

We had a Samsung and had some problems. Got this LG. It has a nice Brite clear picture. The sound is a little muffled but that could be a setting. We are still learning We have a sound bar. Works great.

Not taking stars off for being too big(55" is too big for my apartment. Felt like front row at movie theatre) Ok...returned after 1 night. Pros...Came in perfect condition. Beautiful tv (looking) Cons...Wayyy toooo dark!!!!!! Yes! They brag about the new Black is really Black technology. That being said...Less is more!!!! To me,, a struggle to see night time movies(horror) and even regular tv is too dark. In my opinion regular hd tvs are spot on. This technology overthinks tvs. You cant see anything that is close to black, as it will turn off those pixels completely(cant see anything!) Set up is ridiculous to get a clear picture AND there are different settings for everything My advice....tell them in the store to put on a regular channel, not the video that makes this tv special. OR find someone that has this tv and visit them and watch a few movies and regular tv on it As for Best Buy, Still the BEST!!! I returned the next day without ANY packaging and expected to get slammed with a big fee(25% according to blogs) and Whammo! Full refund! Granted I had heart attack until I made into store without damaging it and it passed inspectin. $$1,846$$ trip! They offered to pick it up for $75(well worth it) but my friend has a truck and I just wanted to get over with(wrapped it up in many blankets) Hope this helps
