I've only had the TV for about a month but, so far, no trouble to report. The picture is amazing. When the Geek Squad first set it up, they put it on "energy saver mode". A different Geek Squad person came 2 weeks later and showed me how much brighter the picture was without this energy saver mode. I highly recommend that you turn this off. What a difference. I also recommend that you get new cables that are rated for 4K. The difference between 1080p and 4K wasn't as noticeable as the energy saver mode but, it was still noticeable. I also recommend that you use a sound bar or a receiver with good speakers.

Really like this TV - the detail and richness of color are fully enjoyed. Only one minor complaint. It seems difficult to adjust the brightness to the level I want. The TV is in a bright room and I would like the screen to be brighter during the day. But, haven't found a convenient way to get to the brightness I want. It has been working flawlessly except for the brightness level.

Great picture quality, completely black blacks. 4K and HDR looks amazing. Looked pretty good out of the box and amazing after a professional calibration. Multiple firmware updates have added features and fixed some earlier image issues.

Oled has the best picture on the market , if you don't mind maintaining the tv to prevent burn in then this is the tv for you . It is not one of those TV's that you le as ve the news on all day long , but for viewing movies and shows you will be very satisfied.

I searched and searched endlessly over a decent tv and I ended up going all in for the best Tv for my money since it was on sale. When it comes to quality and best bang for your bucks with no regrets, I would go for Oled any day of the week!! LG has always surprised and given me the best quality of any device starting from my washer machine. This TV has the most crisp and stunning true colors that represents a nice almost real life picture quality screen. It feels as I’m staring into a glass window watching people talk and act!! I would recommend this TV hands down compared to the Samsung Qled, or even Sony!!

The colors and contrast are great and the blacks are what makes this TV stand out! It's because LCD/LED Backlit panels seem to make the background cloudy and bleached out to achieve brightness! Not so with OLED panels! The only negative is that they are expensive!

I just love this tv it has the best picture quality the best sound the hdr and Dolby vision looks beautiful I heightly recommend you go to Best Buy they are the best

Okay, at first I was skeptical. I purchased another medium range (different band) but it was defective, the low frequency (base) had a failure. Most likely the one of the internal speakers was "blown." I went back to Best Buy and talked to customer service and asked if I could exchange it instead of getting it repaired. They said yes, so I went to the salesman and they showed me a much better television the LG. At first I was skeptical but it turned out to be the best television I every owned. The 55 inch LG OLED. Outstanding color, outstanding viewing from any angle. - My advice, buy the quality you want and you will be happy! Oh, the Best Buy staff price matched it for me and I got $600 off! ( I checked later and yes they did me right!). Best Buy Customer forever. And the LG, the best ever too! They took a bad situation and made it great!

The LG replaced a 12-year-old fully functional Sharp Aquos. The difference is stunning, whether I am viewing a standard DVD or streaming a 4K HDR movie. The colors are deep and accurate and the clarity is almost like looking through a window rather than at a flat screen. I haven't used the built-in sound, because the LG is part of a home theater. The glossy finish to the screen reflects the window shades that are behind me, but in all but the darkest scenes, the reflections are completely ignorable.

Install by Best Buy went like a charm -- sound bar installed as well. Best picture ever -- and the thinnest screen ever made!!! Colors are fantastic and sound is great -- no major differences in sound level at commercial time. Happy campers here!!!

I decided to move my Samsung QLED to the man cave and pick up this OLED. I couldn't be happier. Perfect blacks and contrast with amazing color. The brightness for this tv is also decent for OLED. I am sold. Best picture on a tv that I've seen.

This TV is revolutionary. I had a SONY NX800 (1080p) from 2010 and after purchasing this TV I saw new details that I had never seen before. If you are detail oriented, you will see new things in the background. The detail is amazing on this TV. I was watching a TV series with vibrant colors in the clothes and scenery but after purchasing this TV the TV series was even better. You can see so many details. OLED is the new standard. Even though not a lot of 4K content but wow the 1080p is even more amazing. If you like SAMSUNG phones (I use a S9) it is just a blown up version of your phone. Mad props to LG. I am not worried about burn in because I don’t game on this TV nor do I watch anything static all the time. The TV does go into “non burn in mode” with fireworks if you leave the TV too long on stand by or pause. Nice touch LG.

absolutly amazing tv. stunning picture quality. smarter than most ppl hahahaha! and oozes with vibrance and color . ps4 4k pops and i can actualy hit ppl in call of duty lol. 55” is a perfict size and i couldent be happier with the product.

After retiring my Sony 900e I thought long before giving an OLED a try. Though, not as bright as an LCD, this is an amazing TV. I use it for gaming purposes only via my PS4 pro. After a few tweaks using the hdr gaming mode, this tv is a must.

My plasma died and I was debating between this OLED and the Samsung QLED. The truest black pixel won out for the OLED. I have zero regrets. The darks are true and great, the colors are brilliant, and the overall picture is magnificent.

Beautiful picture and simple to set up and use. Only minor complaint is the menus r a bit challenging. Everyone should have one of these cvs.

The best TV for the price all around, it's absolutely stunning. Movies from streaming services lol phenomenal, and HDR gaming from Xbox looks stunning. While it's on sale for $1150, it's by far the best TV possible.

Amazing picture quality on this TV. I watch a lot of sports and the picture quality is amazing, no glitching or lagging of any sort only crystal clear. The initial TV set up is super easy and user friendly. My only complaint is that on the store demo the TV was playing a video showing the features and the salesman even pointed it out that you could ask the TV "what actor is on my TV" or along those lines and the TV would do some sort of recognition and tell me the actor and the TV doesn't even do this??? This was really one of the selling points for me as I was just going to get a 4K tv instead. So that was a disappointment. I even contacted LG to ask them how to get that feature to work and they knew nothing about it!!??? Kinda weird. Other than that the TV is amazing.

Our first smart TV - and it's a different universe; picture is terrific - but the choices, and ease of navigating, make it exceptional. This set offers a picture window into endless possibilities. We are happy viewers.

This TV looks as good at my house as it does in the store. Amazing 4k picture quality. Word of advice, the best buy rep recommended the $6.99 Dynex hdmi cables and stated a $6.99 cable is the same as a $300 hdmi cable and not to waste my money on a more expensive cable. I had issues streaming 4k content and getting a good quality picture using the cheap dynex cables. I purchased the audioquest charcoal hdmi cables and that made a huge difference in my picture quality and sound. I no longer have the pixelation and lag issues as I did with the dynex cables. I would highly recommend a hdmi cable that matches the quality of the TV you buy to get the best picture. The tv setup was very easy and everyone who sees it is amazed by the picture! It's an excellent purchase.
