Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the picture quality and ease of use of the 55” Class UQ75 Series LED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV (2022). Many also appreciate the price and vibrant colors. However, some users have noted that the remote control could be improved, and the operating system's responsiveness is a point of concern for a few. The TV's setup and lightweight design are additional positive aspects frequently mentioned.

    I wouldn’t suggest this tv

TV itself is fine but I HATE the remote. Its cluttered with buttons that will most likely never be used. The buttons are so tiny & close. The worst part about the darn remote is that it ridiculously lags. It’s like it’s gets confused sometimes & takes you to a different app or a different HDMI screen that you never chose. One shouldn’t have to buy another remote. Doesn’t anyone test these things prior to selling it? The remote is kind of a big deal. Another negative if the app options. There aren’t a lot. I thought I could finally get rid of roku when I got a smart tv but that’s not the case with this one. If I could go back I wouldn’t buy this tv.

    So disappointed

Got this 55” LG as a gift and it has been nothing but problems. First we started out with the “holiday model” (found this out when we tried to exchange the first tv). First TV had a problem where it would keep restarting itself every 20 seconds give or take. So we called LG to fix it and they told us they had to find someone in our area to come out and fix it (mind you we had been using this TV for less than a week), well they said it could take up to a week. So we headed to best buy to exchange it. Got the “upgraded” “non holiday model” for a extra $80 because they no longer kept the holiday model in stock. Used our new one for 2 days and sure enough same problem. TV wont even stay on long enough to hard reset it. I loved LG in the past but after this, never buying anything LG again.

    Kinda sucks

Doesn't have a smart switch to auto-turn off after being idle. When I leave an app and go to the home page it goes back to what I was previously watching and auto-plays the show or music by itself, freaked me out the first time it happened. The free LG channels rarely work. The audio reception is very low so I have to keep the volume on at least 60. This TV kinda sucks. Shop around

    Bad TV

I know this is a 2-3 year old TV "now" but purchased toward the end of 2023 ant this unit didn't even last 2 years before the power board had major failure. I've always been a LG tv user and this is the first time having an issue with them but it's a deal breaker and shying me away from using their products in the future. If you can't build a Smart TV that can last more than 5-10 years your product is useless to consumers. Samsung will be my next TV purchase

    Disappointed

So sad with my purchase of this TV. I've had this tv for about a year and half now and 6 months after purchasing the screen started to develop grey spots that were visible on light/white backgrounds. The tv has continued to develop these spots all around the edges of the screen. Unfortunately, I can't afford to purchase another TV at the moment and I'm out of warranty. Additionally, the lag on the remote has been terrible - takes a good 10 seconds for the tv to respond after a button is pressed. I purchased this tv when it was on sale and it was highly recommended by the Best Buy associate, so I expected to really like this tv but have had so many problems from the beginning.

    Missing parts

Bestbuy service is horrible. Drove 20 miles to their Baldwin, NY location to buy this tv supposedly in ‘excellent condition’. The box has ‘inspected by bestbuy’ pasted all over it. When we got home and unpacked it, we found no power cable or the tv stands. Called bestbuy and the only solution they could provide was repack it, go back and get a refund. Its your incompetence that a tv got sold with missing parts. The least you could offer is ship us those missing parts. Never using bestbuy again!

    Garbage

I purchased this TV as a replacement television for my bedroom. As the previous LG TV had been three years old before dying. As a loyal LG TV customer I did not hesitate to purchase another television by them. I must say this experience has been extremely disappointing. The TV lasted approximately three weeks, which was one week outside of the Best Buy return period. The television would not hold a Wi-Fi signal initially, and after one week, it just stopped connecting to any Wi FI. So, I had to purchase another television and rest assure it was not another LGTV… a complete waste of money!!!

I purchased this tv last year 2023. I never installed it until last month August 2024, I'm so sorry I didn't get the Samsung tv. It's lines all over the screen. In the left hand corner is a black spot. I really wasted my money.

Zero!!!! The USB, WI-FI nor the HDMI’s worked. When I returned it they “had to test” the TV to ensure what I said was true. Why buy from a big box store? I had to go there and wait an hour to pick it up and then another to return it; I could have bought 10 tv’s test them all and returned them with lest time spent.
