This is a terrific TV for the price. The color is great and it picks up so many more local channels with my antenna than my old tv did. Very easy to operate as well!!

Its a great TV to use in a bedroom where you dont need large sound. Sound is good, picture is clear. Cant beat it for the price. The one thing i dont like is the remote. However, besides that i couldnt ask for a better tv for my master bedroom.

Using this LG 65 in the gym area. It's the perfect size and the picture is awesome. Unfortunately we don't have wifi in this area but found it easy to set up in the room
Very pleased with price point and quality.

Purchased this TV two weeks ago and am very happy with it. The picture is great. For the size, it's surprisingly light. Only 23lbs. Sound from internal speakers is surprisingly good. Very clear and loud.

Its a solid budget tv with good brightness, image clarity and upscaling.
The main downsides are these -
* Ad-heavy hone page. This is how they let these sell as inexpensively as they do - they make it up on the backend through spamming unavoidable ads through its main page.
* only two HDMI ports, and neither are hdmi 2.1.
* only 60hz with no support for variable refresh rates.
*No local dimming. The panel's blacks and greys are good for what is the equivalent of a panel made in 2008.
* Built-in speakers sound awful. They're better than no speakers at all, but not by much.
Conclusion - I got this to be the bedroom tv, which its doing a great job of. As the main tv for a home, it's lack of hdmi ports makes an hdni switcher, and the added expense, mandatory if you want to do something like hook up more than one device and an hdmi soundbar.
The archaic panel design isn't as bad as it might sound because the brightness, clarity and upscaling are all fat better than they were 15 years ago. The lack of FALD is noticeable in HDR content more than anything, so if you're picky about that, you shouldn't be looking at these extremely budget-minded tv's anyway.
You get what you pay for with these things, and if you want better features at this price point, you're going to get a worse panel with bad brightness and mediocre clarity and upscaling in the trade-off.
I prioritized for the absolute best quality image and upscaling because my wife and I have hooked all of our old gaming consoles up to this and we play them while lounging in bed. It's a great tv for the ps3 and the Switch and emulator laptop. It would even be a solid tv with solid gaming performance for a ps4 or xbox 1.
This tv will certainly work with a ps5, a Series X or a modern gaming pc, but the tv can't support the high refresh rates or the variable refresh rate features of either console.
If you don't care about that, this is the tv with the best-looking display that I could find art several stores in my area. While it cuts huge corners on the minimal hdmi ports included, you can get around a lot of that with an inexpensive hdmi switch like I've done.
If you're looking for the overall best 55" tv for the least amount of money, there are all-around better options, some with much better features even at this price point.
At this price, you're not going to get it all, but you absolutely can get what matters most to you if you take the time to study what's on offer and know what it is you're mainly looking to do with the tv.

Great image quality for entry level TV. Satisfactory value for the money and makes a great addition for bedrooms and secondary areas. We supplemented (2) rooms with this model and very satisfied.

Great TV for the price! Picture is overall good, however it’s seems like in the upper corners, the picture tends to be unusually dark during darker or nighttime scenes, in comparison to other TVs. Even with the brightness turned up. Also every now and then, subtitles on screen with seem blurr for 1 second. Strange, but overall great tv!! I use an Amazon Firestick, so I can’t speak on the TV’s internet capabilities and using apps through the TV.

Nice! No complaints! About the TV .Customers service at that Best Buy is not the best, don’t help until you walking up to the register so can get credit for the sale. 8 employees but no assistance while I was looking, when I found what I was looking for, walk to counter to pay, while I’m carrying the 55 inch, dude tells me I have to go to his register, took everything in me not to flip. That Best Buy has garbage customer service

I also have the LG C1 and this TV seems pretty close to picture. I would say the remote gets the job done, but the magic remote is better.
