Overall for the price it is good. I was completely taken aback by having to screw on the feet/stand. Come on LG while easy to accomplish, totally unnecessary in 2023. For that alone I am giving it a 1 start. It annoyed just that much. Agree with others that the remote control is clunky and cumbersome.

I hate this tv already. I have had to reset it 3 times so far because it keeps disconnecting from my WiFi. I have two different services and for some odd reason, it’s not picking up any connection. I’m beyond annoyed, every time I reset i have to log into every streaming app again.

Bought this 9/2023 working a few months burn ins & halos started to appear. Now 2 years in it’s even worse. Burn in dots all over the screen now, can’t wait to junk this and get a new TV.

Flickering screen

I purchased the tv in February and in 4 short months the screen has practically given out. The screen flickers the entire time whether something is playing or not. I wish I could return it but I am well past the return date. I wanted to inform the next person that purchases this tv that the issue at hand is very much possible.

I have installed high end home audio and video systems in existing and new construction. This was my first time "slumming" it with a bargain TV.
I replaced an 8 year old LG that was much more expensive. I can see the difference in build quality between the two but the performance of this "entry level" TV is head and shoulders above my old unit. The color saturation and contrast are greatly improved. The clarity while streaming is better as long as the bandwidth is there but it is really apparent that this TV does not cache streamed content. I can cause image degradation by cranking up a large file transfer. My old set did not have this problem.
Off axis viewing is no longer an issue.
They put a lot of effort into the guided setup process. It's a very straight forward if not long process. If you aren't a tech forward person be patient and don't skip the process. Patience will save you a lot of frustration.
Other than the ghosting from a lack of caching, my only complaint is that the glare from my windows is more noticeable with this new TV. All in all, now that the TV is home, I would have a hard time justifying a more expensive TV. It's much cheaper to use a streaming device with caching built in rather than popping for a much more expensive TV.
If you are looking for an immersive movie experience you will be disappointed with the range of the audio but for regular viewing it's fine. Staying away from lower frequencies helped this set get LOUD. The volume stays clear to a volume that requires earplugs. Hearing impaired folks will not have a problem hearing shows.
I liked this TV so much I replaced the TV in our primary bedroom.

HATE THE REMOTE

The picture is beautiful, and the sound is great. Love the extra channels LG has to offer. The remote is very difficult to use since the buttons are small, close together and have no voice control. This is difficult for someone with disabilities. Would like to know which remote to purchase that has voice control & works with the UQ75 series

I went in looking for a 70 inch TVs something of that size I thought if I got a cheaper TV but bigger it would compensate for the brightness contrast, etc. after asking to see the LG TV I walked away with a 55 inch because the quality was exceptional and it also came with LG channels that was a cool plus. I have now had my TV for over two months, I have not experienced any issues. I am very happy with the quality. I love how I am able to change the definition depending on which movie I’m watching and what time of the day it’s an awesome TV and when it’s time to upgrade I will be getting the same TV just in a bigger size, and putting this one inside my bedroom.

Excellent T.V. Easy to put together and very easy to set up. Convenience buttons on the controller is a plus. Good Price. Games look amazing on it. We picked it up at the front of the store and the associate brought it out and put in the car in like 30 seconds. Couldn't ask for a better transaction. Thank You!!!!! A+++

I've had this TV for about 8 months now and I've tried to give it the benefit of the doubt. First off, the images and sound are pretty good. But LG will not control my Bose sound bar output when the sound is set to TV plus Optical output. I have to buy an LG sound bar for that. The second disappointing item is the LG app store, there is no access to ESPN+, which I'm paying for. But what really has made me unhappy is the WebOS operating system. It lags anywhere from 2-8 seconds to respond to the remote. This becomes confusing, thinking the TV didn't get the command, Then it continues past my desired point because of multiple clicks. Too frustrating to use daily. I just bypassed the OS with a great Google Chromecast with Google TV for $50. Excellent response. Get a TV with a Google TV operating system.

Got my LG 55" UQ7570 UHD TV today.
the 55'' size is easy to handle and comes inside a full size sedan on the back seats floor.
The table stand is easily attached and needs a regular #2 Philips screwdriver.
The picture quality is the best part in this new generation of LG UHD TVs.
The voice quality is much better than other same class TVs and does not really require a soundbar.
Then comes the LG channels app and has plenty of free content.
For this price and in this class its a pretty darn good value for money and meets all the checkmarks for a solid UHD TV.
No major cons but one thing is the remote. LG has given a very basic entry level remote.
The central OK button is much lower in the remote and could have been in the center since it is the most used button/function.
Also the remote does not have a microphone and you cannot talk into the remote.
LG could have easily given a better remote.

The quality of the picture is good. Not sure about the "LG" features etc. This is a mixed review. Should have another option of recommend with reservations.
We do NOT care for the remote. Our former LG remote was more user friendly especially for aging fingers. Would really appreciate a different set up including the CC button, and the up and down channel button.
We resisted getting another LG since our purchase of our previous in 2020 didn't last. The pixels deteriorated way too quickly. Then the fiasco with our HISENSE purchase was not enjoyable. Way too much to put in this review

I recently purchased this TV at a fantastic discount, and it has exceeded all my expectations! The picture quality is outstanding, with vibrant colors and sharp details that make every scene come to life. The sound is equally impressive, providing a rich, immersive experience without the need for additional speakers.
Setup was a breeze, and the user interface is intuitive and easy to navigate. I love the smart features, especially the wide range of streaming apps available right at my fingertips.
