TV better than the Movies
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After checking that there were no signs of light bleed around the edges, ran a 4K test by playing a film on an upscaling Blu-Ray player, absolutely better than cinema quality. Also played some 4K streaming content, worked great. Then played a 3D BluRay and was very impressed by the quality. Smart TV options worked seamlessly, also hooked up a PC.

Terrible display

But after about 40 days a random spec of dust appeared in middle of screen. Had lg tech come out and confirm it was the display. So I bought this tv and spent more money thinking the 3D would be worth it and it would look at least as good as the cheaper model I bought for 1599.. Boy was I wrong!!! Everything from the box to the build quality on this set is pure trash. The main issue I returned it was because of the insane amounts of backlight bleeding issue. Each corner looked like someone was standing behind it with a flash light when the screen was dark. Also when not dark it looked as though when you move the pointer it would have weird effects on the back lighting. Bottom line is. Don't bother with this tv. The lower model without 3D was great minus the dust particle. This one for the price is trash. People here who don't complain of this light issue either got lucky or don't know enough about these things to know what to look for. Went curved Samsung and was happy.

Why didn't I buy this earlier

With help from Best Buy sales rep, I settled on this TV and have no regrets whatever. Great Product. Clear and crisp pictures. I think I made the right decision
