I purchased this tv 24/12/15 and love picture clarity. The setup was easy except for sound. After 2 weeks of talking to LG techs I was told it doesn't support external HT speakers while trying to watch movies thru apps. (Netflix/Amazon/Vudu). I connected to HDMDi 2 ARC and still not able get sound from speakers. I find it hard to believe with all the technology LG missed on this.

I bought this TV after my brand new Sony died 2 weeks ago. This LG TV looks nice and the menus are easy and fun to navigate with the magic mouse (point at the TV and a mouse pointer moves around on the screen). If you're not particular about perfect picture quality, this may be the TV for you, and it looks like the majority of reviews on here and Amazon reflect this theory. However, in my opinion, the picture is fairly grainy and not "smooth" as one would expect with a very new TV model. I have no idea if anything (HD or SD) is being upscaled because everything looks the same - though of course HD is obviously better than SD, the HD looks similar to HD on my older Samsung TV. Maybe I have a bad model? I would have expected a clearer, smoother picture, but even at 5+ feet the blurry/pixelation is very noticeable, so at 10 feet, the picture is acceptable, in my book. I'm going to consider repurchasing my previous Sony or looking for a newer Samsung, although I haven't seen better reviews for Samsung over these other leading TV brands.

I love the TV. I have no complaints about it. It is exactly as expected. It does have a learning curve, since the skimpy user manual included with it is mostly worthless and doesn't explain much. However the online user manual (which isn't mentioned, and you just have to find for yourself) has great and full information.

This tv is incredible. It has all the apps you would want in a smart tv. The remote works like a charm and picture quality is perfect.

Web OS 2.0 is the best. I wish they had a google music app, but video quality and features for the price make this a great mid range 65" TV purchase!

Just purchased this November 23 and disappointed with the ir blaster. The channels work only sometimes on the remote that is link to my cable remote Called Sony and had it working than turned it on the next day and again doesn't work. Very frustrating

This LG TV was recommended to me over the Sony and Samsung models I was comparing in store by 2 BBY Associates. I bought it and it was delivered within 3 days. Great TV in a bright room. But once it starts getting just a little darker (like in the evening, when I usually watch TV) this TV shows HOT SPOTS all over. For me, it was particularly bright in the lower left corner of my screen - that corner "Glowed" all the time. I adjusted every setting possible - but could not even out the "Ghosting" pattern of light flowing across my screen. (I'm very proficient at AV setup - including ISF calibrations). Between the uneven light dispersion and the very poor black levels - this tv does grey at best - I lived with this TV for 1 week, and returned it to the store. I bought a Samsung 65" and it has a MUCH better all-around picture. Oh, and it was less money. I likely would have been happy with Sony as well, but not this LG.

The Black Levels are just way off but the bright colors are good but i think this tv still has too much back light bloom

This television was an excellent purchase. The picture on this is unbelievably clear, like looking through a window!
