Purchased this TV and paid for an electrician to mount. 4 day before the return date the TV started to become pixelated. It was completely fuzzy within 24 hours. I was leaving for vacation the next day and had to drop what I was doing because I couldn't have returned it if I had passed the deadline. When returning it, the person who took it out of the truck said, "Oh, another one of these." The store clerk acknowledged that they knew this TV was problems. I upgraded to the next model up and so far I'm pretty happy. The only problem I have is that the surround sound suddenly won't play the TV so I may have to take the TV down and check to plug. I'd be really sad if I had to return this one, too.

Overall very happy, a few weird quirks

Build quality seems pretty good, although it does feel a bit delicate when trying to move it. Screen is perfect without any dead or missing pixels. I primarily watch Netflix and Amazon video, and both look fantastic even though they are only HD and not Ultra HD. The 1080p upscaling seems to do very good. I did watch one Ultra HD (4K) video on Amazon and it looked fantastic. Over the air HDTV looks very good as well, and I was happy to see there is a coaxial antenna input. Scientifically, it is said you can't tell the difference between 4K and 1080p past a certain distance depending on your vision. I however, did see a difference. 4K is a lot more crisp, even when sitting 10 feet away from the TV. I have also watched some old 480p DVD's, and they looked pretty good too even being upscaled. I've been pretty impressed with the visual quality on this TV, and I am an extremely picky viewer. I don't like it when pixels don't line up when up or down scaled. Luckily this TV is doing an excellent job. The remote control is pretty good and the TV responds fairly quickly to inputs. I will say the GUI gets slow in the advanced settings menu, which is annoying but it isn't terrible (i've seen worse). One little thing that really annoys me is if I'm in an "app" like Netflix and go into the advanced settings, then press Exit to leave the menu, the TV also exits the Netflix app and goes to antenna. So I have to go back into Netflix and start the video I was watching again. Luckily the computer is very fast and the apps are quite fast, so getting back in is quick and painless. The sound quality is ok... not great but you can't expect much from built in speakers. I hooked up my stereo system to the TV but had to buy a digital to analog converter which cost me $20 but it does work. I was a bit annoyed LG didn't put any analog audio output on the TV, but I guess it saves increased cost of the TV. Once the audio is configured to output to the optical port on the TV, you cannot control that volume from the TV. You can only control it from your audio device, which I find annoying but I think just about all TV's are that way. Overall i'm very happy with the TV, there isn't many things that are wrong. I hope it lasts a long time considering how it seems everything is made to just barely last a couple years and then be thrown away. I plan to keep this TV for living room use for 5-10 years.

I wanted a 65 inch tv so I begin looking at reviews and went with the LG 65 inch 4k. It's amazing. The picture quality is great and the sound is great. So when you go to a store and you see these clear pictures on them like you're looking out a window, clearly blue ray video, this tv has that quality with an HD reciever. I can't wait for football season. Great product LG.

I purchased this after having to downgrade from a 70" sharp aqous quattron. 1st sharp had such severe clouding that you could not watch during the day without noticing. Best buy picked up in 2 days and delivered the 2nd .2nd Sharp was fantastic. I mean amazing picture and it was half the pixels of a true 4k display. However it developed a vertical line after only 4 months. So naturally anyone in my position would be like no way I am going for a 3rd. So I went for again something other than a samsung. Samsungs are in every other room. Even a plasma which by far is the best TV I have ever owned. So you would think I should stick with what I am familiar with, but I wanted to try yet another brand. Big mistake folks. LG looks pretty good with 4k but with just standard high definition through dish it cant even compare to the sharp. Granted the sharp aquos was 240hz and the lg is only 120 I believe. Also The banding is terrible. Its almost like looking at a zebra in the right light. Its back lite and edge lite. This can be adjusted but not very well. I have to adjust picture for every different type of lighting. First and last LG product I will ever buy. If you buy this it needs to be hooked to 4k signal or its just so so.

Beware, this set does not have blue tooth or the magic remote. Other than that it's a good TV. I cannot recommend it for purchase due to the offshore support.

Just purchased yesterday, no problem with set up. 65" diag wow, from my Samsung 32". Struggled between Samsung and LG but for the price you can't go wrong. Remote does lag as stated on previous reviews, but other than that picture clarity and motion rate was fine.

The size is perfect for a 15 by 15 room. Picture is very good with HD. What I like best about the TV is you can sit at a decent angle to it and still see a good picture. The picture doesn't degrade at a viewing angle.
