Horrible Geek Squad Service
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have spoken twice to different store managers about correcting the horrible Geek Squad Support that I received with equipment delivery...I am still waiting for a satisfactory solution. If not received by first week of January I will be returning all equipment as I can't use it at the moment...

Horrible Best Buy Customer Service
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product was purchased under a price match which Best Buy refused to honor. In addition, they misrepresented the 3D capability. Then they promised to issue a credit and now they refuse to honor the promise their call center (Geek Squad) rep said they would honor.

Excellent OLED TV!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow this TV is almost perfect. No 3D but who cares. 3D is only good in the theaters in iMAX. Anyways, perfect black levels are a really big difference when it comes to LED TVs. Easy to setup, and the pre-set picture settings are excellent. I mounted this tv on the wall with no issues, its a little lighter than other LED cause of the thin screen. Other TVs i was looking at: Samsung UN65KS9000 Sony XBR65X930D But, these LED's have are no comparison to the OLED B6P. Oh, and i purchased this TV earlier this month (Dec2016) for $2999.

Great Tv, if it is not an open box item
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought the tv and Geek Squad warranty, it had physical damage which is not covered by LG or Geek Squad. I had to return it, in order not to get stuck with a $4k damaged tv, and bought a Samsung Qled.

Pixilation- poor picture quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The technology is neat in theory but not quite there yet. Very unhappy with the picture quality and pixelating that happened on many 4K HD viewing. Returned....

Astonishing Achievement in Excellence!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I never write review, but this I had to. LG has accomplished and amazing achievement with OLED Technology. I have always been a videophile and settle for nothing but the precise best in picture quality that exceeds excellence, and so far I have only been able to find this at the local cinema theater running the Sony professional cinema projectors that cost over a million dollars until one day I walked in at the best buy store and was noticing the satisfying brightness lever of the Sony 65Z9D, the salesman by the name of Doug passed by stopped and suggested I take a look at the LG OLED Screens (thank you Doug), I did as he suggested and I was mesmerized. I thought to my self could this be true? am I seeing this right? I felt like the Professional Cinema projector that costs a million dollars has been delivered in front of my eyes, how was this possible? Infinite contrast? infinite color? pure black?. Without saying I was ecstatically and pleasantly surprised in awe. Pure Cinema Delight... I was in loss of words. After taking the screen home without thinking, setting up, connecting, adjusting, calibrating was a pure pleasure. Once the overall setting was complete the results were exceedingly satisfying. With the ability of every pixel of 8.29 million of them to be able to turn on and off and be controlled individually by the TV's engine is what makes the magic possible here. If you are looking for the best TV this is not the one, but if you are looking for better then the best, if you are looking for what the director, and cinematogropher see with their own eyes from their respectiful working chairs, then my dear friend if you have read this far in this review you not only need to select this TV, but you owe it to your self and to your viewing eyes for the years to come, so you will not delude them to almost the best, washed out colors, beaming halos, and all the short comings on LED and LCD TV Screens. Take it from the man himself Francis Ford Coppola https://youtu.be/N7IrFzAn-iQ I simply cannot get into the specs, dolby vision and everything else for this review will be too long. I have always been a Sony TV customer, the OLED screen is absolutely amazing as all TV screens should be.

Picture as promised
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Yes, the picture lives up to the hype. The contrast is fantastic and the blacks are absolutely black. Buy this TV if you are setting up a theater space and you can honestly justify the price to yourself, spouse, family. Do not buy this TV if you cant afford it, or perhaps if you are going to put it in a bright room to watch sports, sit-coms, etc.... save your money and buy a good entry level 4K like the Samsung 6300 series. Or compromise and buy a more expensive LED with local dimming. The OLED is fantastic. I'm glad I bought it. But, when you buy this TV, you are paying a whole lot of money for the last bleeding edge of performance.

This TV has exceeded my expectations!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After a lot of research I've determined the 2016 LG UHD 4K TV is the best technology in the market today! It is worth the cost and when all was said and done Best Buy was the most cost effective place to buy (believe me I shopped everywhere). To my surprise, two weeks after my purchase my sales person called me to tell me the price was reduced another $500 and offered a retroactive price match. (Of course they are no fools, I used those funds towards purchase of a new AV Receiver). The TV image quality with over 8 million pixels and the unique OLED ability to totally turn off individual pixels gives the ultimate vivid blacks resulting in UNBELIEVABLE contrast and quality. The upscaling of ordinary 1080P cable to 4K makes it worth the investment by it self. Shows, videos & movies that originate in 4k become the icing on the cake. They should have told me more about the simplicity of the remote control, it is terrific! It gives you an on screen cursor, you just point and click.. SUPER SIMPLE! I had no idea technology had improved this much in the last few years!

Burn-in stopped us from buying another OLED
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Yes but no but yes! I love this TV but it let me down too. Great for two years than suddenly burn in of station logos started to appear in the corners, then around year 4 massive burn-in in the center. No amount of flashing the screen or resets helped. However, the image is beyond compare. Beautiful. But the burn-in was such a disappointment. Went back to a higher-end LG LED. I do recommend OLED if you are a movie snob because the picture is truly amazing but with one massive caveat of… eventual burn-in will occur.

Pure junk
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As expensive as this TV is (I bought it (65") for $2,999), it had really bad judder (where objects moving across the screen are very choppy as they move). Additionally, the WebOS 3 Operating system the TV uses looks great, but its functionality, especially with the magic remote controller, was really non-intuitive. I returned the TV and went for a Sony x930d 65" and it is wonderful.

BEST TV EVER!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV was rated #1 for 2016. The picture as you have read on other post. It is awesome! With the way the apps & remote work, It is well thought out. LG took the best of tablets & made it work on a TV. My Kindle mirrors easier on the TV than the Kindle Fire TV. If you can afford it, it this TV.

Love the Picture, Hate the Remote, Sound?
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I received the tv yesterday, so these are my first impressions. The picture is stunning, even when not being shown in 4K. You pay a steep price for this tv, but the picture is far above anything else out there that is not an OLED tv. The sound is questionable. I have a Sonos sound system and it is not producing the same quality sound as it did with the previous Panasonic tv. The Sonos may just need adjusting to this tv or the quality may not be as good. The jury is still out on that one. I don’t like the remote. They tried for a sleek, stylish remote and got it. However, to get that look, they combined features and left some features off. The design leaves you wanting a clunky remote with a good set of features. On other remotes, you can stop the action, move frame by frame forward or backward on live tv or in movies. Not on this remote. The “Magic” remote has one exit button to leave a screen or a program. I kept kicking myself out of Netflix because I would get stuck on a frame and couldn’t just exit the frame. If the remote pointer is active, you must use one of the arrow keys to exit it. The problem is that pushing an arrow causes the command to execute and you generally end up somewhere you don’t want to be. There should be a better way to exit the pointer. I play Destiny on a PS4. The PS4 does not support a 4K resolution. However, the speed that the picture is rendered seemed to be very good. The quality of the picture was much improved, even without true 4K. I love the picture, hate the remote, and don’t know how I feel about the sound. If you buy this tv, Best Buy should make you a great deal on a fully functional remote that will work well on this tv and maybe a compatible sound system.

Hands down greates picture ever!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the most amazing tv you can buy for the money. If you are on the fence about getting this tv jump in and get it. I have had this tv for a couple weeks now and have no judder issues hdr gaming is great non issue for lag. And the contrast will blow you away... Netflix hdr looks great but even a regular blue ray disk will knock your socks off. I am holding out for a 4K player until they come out with a Dolby vision player. I would recommend getting open box. That is what I did and it came geek squad certified but they were able to come down to 2300 with tax it was 2500 and I got the 65". Anyways great tv if you can get one. Then do it.

Exceptional Pictire Quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Background.. I am a videophile and have purchased 4k uhd Samsung and LG's over the last 2 years looking for the WOW factor for our home Theater.... Our Theater room is completely dark and both TV's lightbleed, haloing, blooming, motion issues and not such good contrast drove me nuts forcing those tv's into exile in other rooms of the house. My wife forced me to buy this TV so I would quit talking about it, lol, she's awesome. Every time we went to BEST BUY it was clearly the best TV. TV went down to $2,800 for Holidays. Bought it, took it home, set it up and this TV is truly exactly what CNET and Digital Trends call it. Best TV ever( reviewed). WOW. Contrast is off the charts. Looks better than in the store. In a dark room the picture is stunning. 4K Blu Rays are amazing!! The contrast is off the charts...The absolute blacks make the difference. The brightness is more than enough for our dark room. Looks amazing. No motion blur, haloing, blooming etc. We are super happy with the buy.

LG OLED tv's are the best out there.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had many HDtv's including Pioneer Kuro's and late Panasonic Plasma's, Sony 4k xbr, JVC LCOS, mitsubitshi CRT, Samsung and Toshiba DLP's. But this LG OLED technology is just something else. The perfect black levels mixed with HDR and 4K resolution is the ultimate picture. Shadow details are great as well. One thing you want to make sure to do though is get the tv professionally calibrated to get proper colors.

Worth every Penny!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've researched the LG OLED for two years. I finally bought one back in November, unfortunately I had an issue and had to exchange it for another one. Worked out well because when I bought it the first time it was $2999, when I exchanged it, the price had dropped to $2799. The OLED is by far the best TV on the market. I had my OLED calibrated. The colors, the blacks, the sharpness, wow, there really isn't anything on the market that compares I have zero regrets and neither will you.
