Awesome Picture!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replaced my broken LG 79UB9800 with the LG OLED65B6P. Smaller in size, but makes it up in image quality. This set is amazing!!!! 4K Blu Ray is Awesome! Also, Playing my Xbox One S looks awesome especially playing HDR games! The reason why I only gave this TV 4 stars was that the HDMI ARC port cannot not sync with my LG SJ9 soundbar. The only why to get Dolby Atmos is to connect my soundbar to the tv ARC port. The Geek Squad guys told me that the ARC is not reliable. So I was disappointed that I had to connect via Optical Cable, but Dolby Atmos isn't transmitted via Optical Cable. It's only available via HDMI ARC port and connecting my XBOX One S to the LG SJ9 HDMI In port.

Better than my Panasonic plasma
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ok I was thinking of waiting for another Panasonic but I am so glad that I didn't. They just hooked it up yesterday and removed my Panasonic plasma that I had. What a difference. This TV is brighter when it needs to be and the black contrasts are amazing. The shading is incredible and the colors and clarity pop right out at you. Set the picture quality to vivid when we set it up and did nothing else. Yes it is on the expensive side but when my wife came home she said it was the best picture she had even seen. If you can, buy this TV

OLED IS THE WAY TO GO
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We are extremely pleased with this OLED B6 65" TV. It was purchased for a LL family room. Beautiful picture. The High Dynamic range is awesome! Deep blacks and a wonderful whites. It's like your watching a movie at the theater with all the details you notice with this high quality TV. Definitely worth the money - and we got a great price with the sale! We notice a huge difference when viewing this over our 3 year old 55" Samsung LED TV we have in our living room. Worth the extra money if you want the best TV on the market! We can't wait until more shows and movies are converted to 4K - the picture will only improve even more!!

Absolutely Stunning
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Returned a Sony 75 inch LED and paid the extra difference for this tv. Should have bought this tv to begin with. Absolutely stunning picture, even with regular programming. Watching a blu ray on a 4k player takes it to another level. I can't even begin to describe how great ultra 4k hd looks on Netflix and Amazon. This is definitely the best tv on the market right now an totally worth the money.

TV is excellent, but...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is TV to buy and is worth the money especially at newly lowered price. You can't see it in the store with other TVs and lights, but in a dark room you can see the picture light up in a glory of colors. So beautiful, it makes real images more real and CGI more fake. Best sound ever from a TV, surround sound makes it better experience, but fantastic sound from the TV alone. But, two things - one all these large 4k TVs have a very small frame of black around them. This makes the TV seem to float on the wall in space, which is a little weird. I think a inch black frame around the TV would make it look better. And two handling this TV is like handling a very large plate of glass. There is some weight and width to the lower third of the TV but the rest is just a plate of glass. It is so thin it is amazing design, but not great for handling and mounting. We mounted on the wall for security (so it can't get knocked over) and to put it at the right height. But because it is so thin we can not access the cables, so to attach an optical cable for sound out to receiver we now have to remove from wall to install cable. Uggh. That I don't like. Plus user manual not included, it is online and accessible from TV, but include the little book, C'mon. And no diagram of the inputs and outputs on the TV back are anywhere. Take a picture.

If you can afford it...buy it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking to replace my Panasonic Gt60 plasma tv in our living room and move the panny to the basement. I originally bought the Sony XBR-X930D and initially was very happy with it. The picture on the Sony, when viewed head on, was beautiful. The problem was we don't always view the tv "head on". Our tv sits on the side of our living room so anyone on the right side of the room are viewing the tv at an angle. This wasn't a problem with the plasma we had since off angle viewing was excellent. It is an inherent problem with all LED tvs. The picture gets a bit washed out when viewing it from the side. It really bothered me. So I had to decide if it was worth a thousand dollars to swap it for the OLED. It was. What a beautiful picture. You do have to tweek the settings a bit (at least I did) but once you do ...wow. I used Expert Dark room (even though our room isn't that dark)..it looked better than the the bright room setting. As mentioned in most reviews...its the contrast. The blacks are true black. Colors pop. Of course it all comes down to the media...some stations on cable look just ok...but that's dependent on the media (garbage in, garbage out). And the off angle viewing...perfect. The Sony is a great TV if you sit right in front of the screen, but for me the LG OLED is the best picture money can buy...much better than my plasma. If you can afford it...buy it. You won't be sorry.

Does not work with PS4 Pro
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unfortunately PS4 Pro will not see this TV and all you will get is a black screen. As far as the technical, blacks and whites exceed the plasma levels. It is thin and light and webOS is the best smart tv interface on any of the current tv's. LG promises they will update the firmware soon to make it compatible. 4K content shines on it and color saturation is excellent. Unless you have/plan to get a lot of 4k content it still may be too early for you. As far as the bad stuff, there was some definite motion blur issues on high speed scenes in moves (e.g. The Flash). Also on occasion I noticed some upscaling artifacts but this may be just related with codec issues on Netflix. If you are coming from an old HDTV LCD or low/mid grade plasma you will be very very happy. But if you are coming from a plasma like ones from last few years of production from Panasonic, you will not be blown away. OLED is by far the best TV quality currently available. I hope they straighten compatibility issues as I find it unacceptable for this expensive of a set to not work with next gen consoles at launch.

Amazing amazing amazing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Clear crip picture. Does it have 3D? No but the picture quality is amazing. Thought about the E6 but wasn't gonna pay the extra $1000 just to get 3D and a little better sound. Everyone that walks in the room notices the picture quality. Is the price scary? Yes but but I'm glad I spent the money. Cons: Sound. My goodness this tv has bad sound. But the guys at bestbuy cut me a deal for a sound bar when I was buying the tv and I'm glad they did. Tippy. The base almost seems to small. I'd feel better if it was wall mounted.

Lags! Bad for Gaming
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Obviously one of the better displays currently offered when viewing 4k content. But most of us do at least some occasional gaming (i.e., XBox or Playstation)- if you don't, you're missing out on one of the greatest technologies of the modern age. Anyhow, it is almost unusable for gaming due to the input lag, and most agree that it is a hardware problem that won't be resolved by a software patch. This greatly reduces the value of the OLED and likely explains why Sony and Samsung have't jumped on-board. Not worth 2-3x their high end set cost. The Sony 900 series for 1/2 the cost provides a much better value, even with the LG OLEDs "on-sale" for $700-1,000 off. There is a reason they need to keep dropping the price- wish I hadn't bitten!

Excellent TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this TV the week before thanksgiving and geek squad came out Black Friday to install it. I upgraded from a 47" LG and I must say it was a real upgrade. Not only in size but quality. I haven't seen black levels like this since the Panasonic Plasmas were king. User interface is very easy, and set up was a breeze. Only issue is my Bose Cinimate 15 remote won't do all of the functions. Blending new and old tech will always have issues so I'm not worried about it. If you are debating buying a tv check this on out. You'll enjoy it.

Worth every penny!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I struggled for weeks with this purchase. I needed a 65" TV for our new home and along with the B6, I was also looking at the Sony 940D and 930D. I used to own a Kuro Pioneer Elite Plasma 4-5 years ago and since buying a LED, have missed the nice inky blacks and sharp picture. Currently we have a Sony XBR 55X850B. After all of the 5 star reviews I've read on the B6, i felt that was the TV for me. However, after going in to Best Buy, I started looking at the 3 TV's listed and the B6 looked rather dark compared to the 2 Sony's. I know the Sony's are rated at a couple hundred NIT's higher in brightness than the LG, but the LG really looked dismal. The contrast on the LG was great, but it crushed the blacks in the shadows. Since Best Buy always has their TV's playing looped 4K video's of Gecko's and and waterfalls, I wanted to know what these TV's would do with the 1080p that most of my channels are on Dish Network. For this I streamed 1080p trailers of movies over wifi with YouTube. I set my phone up as a wifi hotspot rather than use the slow store wifi. This is what I recommend anyone whose looking to purchase a TV do. The 4K looped videos make anything look good. After watching several trailers on the 3 TV's the LG's dismal brightness just wasn't cutting it, but to be fair the 930 wasn't doing a very good job of upscaling the 1080 content it was receiving. The 940 fared better, but wasn't as good as the LG. My complaint with the LG always went back to how dim the panel looked compared to the Sony's. The B6 was mounted high and the store lights really drowned the picture quality of the LG. I had decided on the Sony 940. As i waited on them to get the TV, i walked around an end cap and noticed the B6 in a 55". Man was it bright, you could see all of the details in the shadows that the 65" B6 was missing. I went with my gut and told the guy to get the LG B6. When i got home, i was pleasantly surprised at the easy set up of the B6. Straight out of the box, the panel is near perfect. I plan on getting a professional calibration, but with just a few adjustments I made, 5 stars isn't a high enough rating. One of the things I hated about my Sony was watching concerts at night. With all of the light effects and strobes, the picture became a garbled mess with pixelization. The LG performs perfectly retaining its sharpness and contrast and color. This is one TV you don't want to pass up if you can pony up the funds! I decided the displayed 65" B6 was either bad, or somebody had messed with the settings. All these 5 star reviews are spot on, and so is this LG B6!

DI$APPOINTED
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The overall picture quality is inconsistent. Larger, slow moving images look outstanding just like in the store but that's coming from a DVD/Blu-ray player. I need good HD broadcast quality. I watched one movie on TBS and the picture was not bad. The same for primetime TV shows. However, this is not a good TV for watching sports. The smaller on screen images lead to motion issues, haloing and ghosting. I found myself adjusting the picture settings every time I turned the set on to watch a game. I spent a lot hours doing that. Doing so helped but did not clear up the problems. I even tried replacing my $10 high-speed HDMI cable with a $300 one which produced the exact same picture and problems as technical reviews had stated. This convinced me to return the TV. I should only be changing the channels on a daily basis, not the settings. The elite pricing of this TV suggest quality that is not consistently delivered.

Definitely Next Generation
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a beautiful crisp picture and thin. Very happy with it. My only problem with the experience is that I never this purchase attached to account, and therefore no points were added to my account. Can someone at Best Buy remedy this for me now? I don't want to have to make a phone call or come to a store to get this done.

Disappointed in LG
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you buy any LG product, pay for extended warranty through Best Buy. After purchasing a TV that I truly enjoyed (for 18 months) every aspect of, it died. I thought I was buying a TV that I would get to enjoy for years! The blacks were incredible, the remote was innovative. I even replaced another TV in the house with LG based on how impressed I was! I'm sure you can imagine how disappointed I was when it died after 18 months. After months of working with LG on repairs and spending hours with a service tech, I asked for a replacement. LG arranged to pick up the TV and once they received it, would issue a check. It's been almost a full month and they have yet to receive the TV, which means I am still waiting on my check for replacement...I mean it's only almost a couple thousand dollars they owe me. Had I purchased the protection plan, Best Buy would've resolved this. Additionally, my LG fridge died after 13 months. LG would not resolve. Thankfully, I purchased the protection plan and Best Buy was awesome at resolving. If you risk buying this or anything LG.....get Best Buy's protection plan!
